Well I guess we KNEW this was coming !!

PressTV - Iran is saying that AIPAC is putting their thumbs in Obama's eye sockets and demading that the U.S. attack Iran or let Israel do it !!!!!!!!

AIPAC is The American Israel Public Affairs Committee

Wheeeew boy.

Sat Feb 11, 2012 3:17PM GMT -- PressTV -- Iran

The most powerful Zionist lobbying group in the US, AIPAC, is increasing pressure on the administration of Barack Obama to launch a military strike against Iran, a political writer says.

"It is clear that Israel and its neoconservative camp followers here in the United States are increasing pressure on President Obama to either attack Iran or let Israel do it," M.J. Rosenberg said.

Rosenberg, who was director of policy at Israel Policy Forum, made the suggestion in an article about a military attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The author said the main reason behind his prediction is that "this is an election year and no one will say no to [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu in an election year."

How much power does AIPAC have? Enough to blacklist any US politician who doesn't kowtow to them. AIPAC is an extremely well funded SuperPAC of the worst kind. Israel is stepping up their pressure tactics in an attempt to get their way.

So it seems like there is finally one issue I agree with Obama on. Hurray! I'm no longer racist

But seriously if a GOPer like Santorum gets elected war with Iran is a foregone conclusion, we'd just be counting the days for the false flag. This means despite the rhetoric america will not attack iran while obama is at the helm.

Press TV is the mouthpiece of the Iranian government, isn't it?
I'll believe this and get uptight over it when I see it in another news source.
Until then .... not too concerned about it .

(If anyone finds this on another news source .. please post ... thanks)

Here is an Israeli source that "talks" about AIPAC.

February 9, 2012 -- JewishJournal,com

All hell breaks loose if a member of Congress objects.

One Member of Congress has actually described what happened when she voted no on an AIPAC “ask.” Rep. Betty McCollum (D-MN) refused to support a bill (opposed by the State Department) that would have essentially banned all U.S. contacts with Palestinians. AIPAC was not pleased with her recalcitrance.

In a letter to AIPAC executive director, Howard Kohr, McCollum described what happened next. In short, she was threatened by an AIPAC official from her district, called a terrorist supporter and warned that her behavior “would not be tolerated.” In response, McCollum told AIPAC not to come near her office again until it apologized.

Will AIPAC and Bibi get their war?

and The Intel Hub;

February 9, 2012

These are strange times for those of us who follow the debate about a possible war with Iran.

It is clear that the Israeli government and its neoconservative camp followers here in the United States are increasing pressure on President Obama to either attack Iran or let Israel do it (in which case, we would be forced to join in). But the idea of another Middle East war is so outlandish that it seems inconceivable it could actually occur.

Still the conventional wisdom holds that it can, and the main reason is that this is an election year and no one will say no to Binyamin Netanyahu in an election year.

War enthusiasm will rise to a fever pitch by March, when AIPAC holds its annual policy conference. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will, if past example holds, bring the crowd of 10,000 to its feet by depicting Iran as the new Nazi Germany and by coming very close to stating that only war can stop these new Nazis. Other speakers will say the same. The few who mention the idea of diplomacy will be met by stony silence.

Iran War: What Is AIPAC Planning?

Oh, sure! Guess what. We would be called upon to save their a*ses anyway.
Is Israel really so stupid as to start a war that would never, never end no matter if we joined it or not?
We can turn that around is say is the US really so stupid as to start the war with Israel as a sidekick and plunge Israel into a war that would never, never end despite our best efforts?

Basically, they cannot win on this issue and that is driving them crazy.

No war and Iran becomes a power to be reckoned with just as is Israel. So they can't live with that solution either.

So maybe they will do the Masada thing.
