I'm sorry to say I'm not a fan of country music. The lyrics are too predictable for one. It just doesn't evoke any feelings in me.

The only time I enjoyed listening to ring of fire is when Adam Lambert sang it.

My favorite current country musician has to be Hayes Carll.



Of course, I love Bluegrass and Alt-Country as well...but since we're just talking country...Hayes Freaking Carll.

There really hasn't been real country music since before guys like Tim McGraw become famous. Real country has become so underground.
I like Hank Williams III idea of what country music should be and I like his sound. Ive met him 3 times, he's the real deal and super talented. Listened to his music for 10+ yrs and knew he was going to become huge and leave his mark. It's starting to look that way now. Check him out.
