Potential solution on 3rd post
Ok, here's another way to interpret the numbers.
417/333, and divided by 7, the number of Xs
417/7 = 59 remainder 4
333/7 = 47 remainder 4
So, if we take the file names as a key, we see a pattern, here is a section of them:
Courtesy of sanctum
1qaz-85tgb |
2wsx-84rfv |
3edc-83edc | These
4rfv-82wsx | Are Missing
5tgb-81qaz |
6yhn-77ujm |
7ujm-76yhn |
If we input the numbers 417 and 333, they both point to the row:
4rfv-82wsx
If we make the first number 417, the row is (82*((417/4)-remainder))+remainder:
417rfv-8529wsx
8529 corresponds to row 3edc-83edc
so to keep in line with the key we have:
417rfv-8528wsx AND
8529edc-235969edc
Now we see the multiplicators 47 and 59 in the two numbers,
If we make the first number 333, the row is:
333rfv-6807wsx
6807 corresponds to the row 3edc-83edc
so:
333rfv-6806wsx AND
6807edc-188327edc
These numbers have a pattern it seems
So we have numbers pointing to the two rows duplicated 4rfv-82wsx and 3edc-83edc so far
Where to go?

Ok, so 417 and 333 have the same remainder when divided by 7 (r4) and 4 (r1).
of course 2 (r1) and 6 (r3)
both are totally divisble by 1 and 3, and don't match with 5
hunt_admin, am i even on the right track lol?
Here is when the numbers mirror, from sanctum again, not sure if it's significant:
36 yhn - 37 ujm Entire number pattern is mirrored from here:
37 ujm - 36 yhn EG 36 yhn - 37ujm becomes 37ujm - 36yhn and so on.

Well I got this thread:
www.abovetopsecret.com...
I found it by the four numbers that have equal remainders with 417 and 333:
And...I see three members only:
Estragon
ultra_phoenix
Mokuhadzushi

Doubtful. I think we're all overthinking this and the answer will be really obvious.

I need to ask everyone their opinion on a thought i have.
Ok 3 numbers will provide the resolution yeah?
To me 3 numbers are 1 2 3 , right?
If it was numbers like this 12 23 34 this is 3 SETS of numbers, you get what i mean?
If im right then we can just list numbers 100-999 and one of the combinations is bound to be right.

Well, 41 is a NUMBER, just as 4 is a number.
41, 32, 21 would be 3 numbers, just as 4,3,2 would be.

well, just for the sake of leaving no stone unturned.....
I tried all of those combinations in the original drjim directory file name, but got an equal number of 'file not found's. Just like I have for the
other 500 hundred I've tried. sigh........
I also read that thread, even though there are now more than 3 members there. I may be too thick, but I didn't see anything helpful.
Don't see how that would yield another 'hidden document'.
I'm in favor of the 'something sooo obvious we'll scream' when we finally see it. I have a few nutty ideas that I'm still working on.

I found a directory by googling 417333
hjem.get2net.dk...
looks the same as Jims but it's too new to be a part of the game and it dosn't lead to three numbers.
I don't think that 417333 is relevent myself because otherwise why bother splitting the numbers up.
I'm not posting much , but am still constantly trying to figure this out.
I still think that the only way that we can get three numbers from the coordinates is by looking at those RGB values, but as others have said, we
still don't know what to do with three numbers once we do find them. Assuming that they have to be put into Jims directory, I suppose that we would
have to fit them to the pattern that we have already, although as I've said elsewhere, it wouldn't seem right that the document would already be in
the directory of the person who is trying to find it.

Did everyone give up already? Come one, we cannot lose this. Well, here is something that I tried today. Maybe it will give others ideas.
Craig and Anne are missing. Well, I looked them up as members on ATS. I then took their ATS numbers and tried the threads #s that matched. But,
nothing there.

Not even! This game processes constantly in the back of my mind, just havent been able to come up w/anything new. Anybody else as troubled by our
unable-ness to "get it" as I am?? Shame on us, really, I bet when we finally see what the next step is we're all gonna be kicking ourselves in the
arsenal!

I've definatly not given up, i go to bed at night with the numbers 417/333 going round in my head hoping for a flash of inspiration. I keep reading
and re-reading the posts in the main thread, frustrated because I know the answer is in there somewhere. I wish that we could get a little more from
the hunt admin, but if he can't say anything because it will give away the answer, then it's got to be something obvious . Perhaps a little clue as
to who has got the closest so far would help?

Well, I am sure that game won`t even start until after this one is concluded on the 15th of October.
Pantha.... great idea.... HA any chance of getting a hint to who was the closest in ideas? This way people can look back and try to figure out where
they went wrong.
