Who can make up their minds there days anyway ?

Some days we hear somebody from the IAEA saying one thing, the next day somebody else from the IAEA says something different

It must be part of the plan I guess.

Sat Feb 11, 2012 6:1AM GMT -- PressTV, Iran

Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has praised Iran as a “peace-seeking” country, in the face of increasing allegations by Western powers against Tehran’s peaceful nuclear program.

Yukiya Amano made the remark at a Friday ceremony marking the 33rd anniversary of the victory of Iran’s Islamic revolution at the country’s embassy in the Austrian capital of Vienna. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking Iranian and foreign diplomats.

The anniversary of founder of Islamic revolution Imam Khomeini's return to Iran on February 1, 1979, marks the beginning of the Ten Days of Dawn celebrations, which culminate on February 11 -- the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

No , they won't.

The whole planet is not corrupted yet.

There are some good guys yet.

This is not appropriate time Zionists turn us into slaves.

Slavery should wait.

They are just dreaming of turning us into slaves.

And they won't be able to do that.

Slavery should wait until infinity.

I think its a case of...

If their "bought" they say Iran is dangerous,

If they aint "bought" they tell the truth...

I'm leaning towards Iran being "no" threat...sure hope i aint wrong though!

I dont believe Iran is a threat either. I believe that there are some that are trying to stop Iran sharing knowledge. I believe that the announcement talked about that is expected soon is not of any threat.
Read my post here and then you will understand why Iran is made out to be the bad apple.

It is clear Iran is not a danger to anyone. If they used nuclear weapons, that would give the world full right to use their nuclear weapons, which meant that Iranians would pretty much cease to exist. Russia nor China would mind one bit, they might even join in.

The only situation they would use it would be in defending their own country, and it would make it practically impossible to attack them with conventional warfare.

So no, it is not a question of them being a threat to anyone but those who want to defeat iran, even with force if necessary.

Yeah, right! I'm sure he said that!

L.W.: So they are stockpiling it?

Y.A.: Yes. A Security Council resolution asks Iran to suspend [enrichment]. But contrary to this resolution they keep doing it.

L.W.: Aren't you worried that they can divert behind your back?

Y.A.: If our safeguards are applied properly, there is not that possibility.

L.W.: That is your No. 1 worry?

Y.A.: We need to have more access, better cooperation from Iran, and better implementation of the rules. I am not against Iran. I just want everyone to respect and implement rules.

L.W.: And they are not doing it right now?

Y.A.: No. Or not sufficiently.

The IAEA is as bad as the UN about flip flopping on issues.

First we hear that their meeting in Iran last month was a good one....then we find out later that Iran refused them access to one of the nuclear sites and also to one of the nuclear scientists.

Now they come out with this. I try to be reasonable and assume this is one of those statements designed to calm down the furor around Iran and their continued stonewalling of the IAEA and their mission.

I am not on the ground with these inspection teams and have no first hand info on exactly how these meetings are conducted and what is said. No one does and all we can do is speculate and try to pick which source of info we believe to be true.

However, do I agree and believe that Iran is a "peace loving people"....sure. Key word there is "people". I have no beef with the citizens of Iran. Unfortunately they are not running the country and are victims of their autocratic nutjob Ayatollah and his puppet president.

Very good contrast to His words of today.

Even though that article is one year old, He still said it.

Maybe some experts just simply see new changes, or just change their minds !!!

I believe Haaretz is saying that the UN will be comming out with a very negative report card on irans co operation with the IAEA.
It depends on whos giving the news these days.....
I dont even begin to know where there is any balanced reportage left........
Every rag has its own agenda to push .........
TV too is full of conflicting proclemations day to day......
Make up their minds once .......

LOL

I would like to see how this is trivialized and made to be "not so real"

I am sure they will come up with a lame argument of how the IAEA Chief is brainwashed by Muslim boogey men.

I would like to just take this time to PBJ PBJ PBJ WABBB to myself mentally.

Actually, I think Israel having nukes is a much bigger threat to instability in the region that Iran is, especially after the latest terrorist attacks on Iranian citizens alledgedly by Israeli terrorists.

Perhaps Israel could simply give up their WMDs and Iran wouldn't feel so vulnerable, or perhaps those who have come to surround it and provoke it and attempt to seize it could withdraw from the region. I would imagine this would ratchet down the fear level quite a few notches.

Who really is being told they have no "right to exist".?

You are correct. In fact, an ATS thread was started on that topic too.
