Where do we go from here?

Greetings everyone. I'm sure most of you have noticed lately that it seems like everything is coming to a boiling point. The U.S. government and several other governmental bodies have became increasingly oppressive lately but why? Perhaps they know that they are losing power over the masses. It is humorous in a way and a bit of poetic justice that something DARPA created is now being used against the corrupt government. The Internet may be one of the greatest inventions of our lifetimes and they want to take that away from you and I. It empowers us and brings us all together. In a world where governments no longer work for their people they serve little purpose if any and it is time for a change. Is a new form of government needed? What do the people of ATS suggest?

Definition of the citizen.Classification of governments by types:good types-monarchy,aristocracy,and constitutional commonwealth; bad types-tyranny,oligarchy,and extreme democracy.

None of the above will suffice unless I make the rules.
