BREAKING rumour: Kim Jong-Un assassinated?

If this is more than just a rumor, my bet would either be on his brother, or other individuals from the N. Korean government that didn't like a new guy trying to call the shots.

Note: There are over 100 Twitter users claiming to be Kim Jong-un.

That.s because the rumors started in early January.

China being a factory of rumors and hoaxes is well known... I thought people on ATS were more informed than that...

these rumours started in january but blatantly if we can trust the source and dates he was visiting the DPRK navy on or around the 7/8 of feb

Well I looked at this pic below and noticed that Kim appears to be 'supported' by a General on each side of him...maybe he has been DEAD for sometime, and this is NK's version of the movie (for propoganda purposes)

N. Korea's new leader inspects navy units

February 6.

Kim Jong Il used his train to go to China... so it was easy to know when he left... MAYBE just MAYBE Kim Jong Un took a plane because he's not as paranoid as his father was... if he did, it would be hard to detect him leaving the country and he could be in China real quick.

It's possible that he was in China... Still very unlikely that he was murdered there.

Not sure if this has beenposted , but Reuters are reporting that he may be on the
run rather than dead.

Interesting if the supreme leader has defected!

I hope Kim Jong-Un doesn't become the next Franz Ferdinand. The last time an assassination of this scale took place, it kicked off WW1. Time will tell I suppose.

Or maybe it's a big ploy by the North Korean government and they will say that Kim Jong Un has healed with his magical powers...

I'd agree with you on this one. North Korea is such a cut off and isolated world unto itself, I recall MSM stories actually questioning everything about Dear kid's life, including his age for goodness sakes. I do recall more than one story about how the rest of the family wasn't thrilled that Dear Dad chose this Dear Kid to follow him into power. I think the one busted by Japanese immigration trying to sneak into Disney-Tokyo wanted it.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn his own family has him on the run or dead. In a family of nuts, this one was a little nuttier than the rest by the reports that do seem to exist about him.

He does look incredibly pale....

If there has been a assassination the military did it.

But the military then needs a hit man to blame and a number of people that backed the hit and it takes days to torture enough confessions out of enough people.

This could have been because the military???
Did not want to open up to the outside world
Wanted to opem up to the outside world and become like china.
Or because kim jong-un was dumb as a rock and the military wanted someone better they could run as a puppet.

Nothing on Korea news. Although it did take quite awhile for them to announce his fathers death.
