Yes, he was a genius, and he provably only lost some of the battles in Africa due to being sick and exhausted.

But what does that have to do with modern americans worshipping him? There are literally thousands of other american heroes to look up before even considering worshiping a former nazi general. Just my opinion..

Hey just so you know that kiss logo you posted is a full typeface
and the SS nazi is a logo !

a typeface is a full set of characters all designed in the same style
the typeface used is called Die Nasty

whether the original typedesigner has the nazi SS in mind and just the S letters
then designed the whole typeface around those two letters is questionable
but I find it highly unlikely , typodermic fonts maybe will be able to give further info !

as I said in the other thread , they could have used another logo , its not hard
one of them could have sketched it out on a piece of paper flying
back in a chopper or something !

Its just a logo at the end of the day.

We cant go on associating images with the past. The nazi's probably got the same image from something else. As long as it not inspiration for the same ideology then who cares.

We can not ban an image or a couple of letters just because they was used by evil regimes in the past.

Anyone remember this band.

That sniper team may be fans for all you know.

Wow! I can't believe this thread still has legs.

Some of you are acting so relaxed about this that it almost seems as though your bodies naturally produce sedatives.

So, in the minds of those people in my above statement, I could don a white sheet and white cone hat with eye holes cut in it, walk into a church that blacks frequent, and tell them they're overreacting because it's just a bedsheet ensamble?

People need to remember that symbols are a universal language that everyone understands and pictures speak louder than words.

Yes, if that makes you happy. Everyone has a right to express themselves, even U.S Soldiers. For a group of people clammering on about freedoms and such, a lot of you sure are real quick to point a finger at just about anything you dont agree with, even when its the same group of men and women who took an oath to defend you and the American way of life. Marines or not everyone has the right to express themselves whether you agree with it or not. Deal with it and move on.

How much longer before a bunch of complainers protest to get "in god we trust" off our currency? Most likely sooner than later with the group of babies and complainers I see running around.

Sure. It's OK if you have no respect for people and what's happened in history. Do whatever floats your boat.

That's the problem with free speech. Some people think it's their right to do things that will most likely upset other people. I guess they think it's fun. Me? I have much better things to do with my free speech rights such as speaking out against tyranny and attempting to educate people about toxic things that have happened in the past. I just don't feel the need to do things that make it look like I support murder and genocide. But, that's just me.

Does this make it better? If they just added wings, it would be okay then, right?

Remember, folks. If you can't win a debate, start crying like a baby and proceed to insult those who don't agree with you several times before vowing never to return.

That is not how you win a debate, you troglodyte! I disagree with you because you obviously do not have the brain power to understand that the real way to win a debate is to be completely irrational and repeat everything you say! And how dare you say such vulgar term like "folks."

So its ok for them to have beliefs fine , however when they are sworn to defend freedom and everything america stands for , they shouldnt choose Symbology that is bathed in facist ideology should they, When soldiers are on duty they are told what to think ,when to eat , when to # , where to move, who to shoot . They shouldnt be using this because it flies against everything america stands for !

We must all take full responsibility for all of our actions. This situation is no different. I am thankful for our United State Marine Corp and we must not judge because of these individuals. Gunnery Sergeant Hartman would not have tolerated any of this crap!

Your obvious, repeated attempts at derailing and to make yourself look clever are starting to become rather comical, even more so than before.

You’d better get on the Army’s case too then because they use it.

You keep avoiding my question, while trying to change the subject. I will ask you again. Where are the SS symbols on all these badges and insignias you're showing?

Proof positive of being a racist bigot who sees the zionist boogeyman everywhere.

Pretty damn sad.

This being America and all where there are socialists, communists, nazis, and everything else which is what the first Amendment was all about any school of thought can coexist with any other and people are free to take it or leave it.

Only a fascist nazi wouldn't understand that.

I'm the furthest thing to a Fascist or Nazi you will ever meet.

Awwwwwweee!

You're so adorable when you're mad

The sad thing is that you must not know what a fascist Nazi is or you wouldn't be on here acting like a fascist Nazi with a dash of jingoism.

Once again, when all else fails and your opponent's logic cannot be contradicted, you resort to the chants of "racist" and "bigot". We've never seen that tactic before

I respect their skills, but there is no courage in being a sniper IMO.

Snipers are a vital tool for various purposes including special missions and protecting fellow servicemen, but I don't agree with the concept. But most of you will call me a peace loving hippie for not being down with the war mongering.

Oh, I don't know...I would think it would take a great deal of courage being a sniper. Possibly more so than in killing when someone's coming at ya. Maybe it takes more courage to stave off the enemy first. I would think so.

Courage could be a requirement if their actions weren't based on blind obedience. Sure, it takes skill, and those first few kills might make you a bit anxious, but courageous is NOT a proper word for the act of sniping.

Just because someone on page one mentioned how "courageous" snipers are, it doesn't mean it's true, and I have explained my opinion on this side issue various times in the thread.

Those kids getting baited by snipers are courageous though:

The word coward comes to mind, not courage.
