Simon Says: Tired of Playing the Game

Tonight, this popped into my head . It will nag me until I get it off my chest so here goes.

I remember playing this game "Simon Says" in gradeschool with my classmates during recess.
I'm sure you all have played many a game, right?

Let's say this, we are not allowed to take a step forward without Simon saying "Simon Says". We
can not cross our hearts, say a prayer, scratch our itch, sit, or do ANY thing without Simon's permission,
or direct order! It is a do as I say game. Simon rules all.

Well, I got tired of this game a long time ago-

"Dictatorship", I say.
Never liked it, never will.

TODAY: It seems as if Simon's ONLY wish (order) is for us to do nothing more than just roll over.

Understand that I do not wish to play this game.
I just hope the rest of the game doesn't play out.

Many of you will understand but I may speak in mysteries to some.
