ORLANDO, Florida (AP) -- A Walt Disney World worker who was acquitted of charges he fondled a 13-year-old girl while dressed as Tigger has been suspended again, accused of shoving two people while in a Goofy costume.

His lawyer said the man was just "goofing around because he was Goofy."

www.cnn.com...

Two photographers at Disney's Animal Kingdom said Michael Chartrand came up to them in his Goofy costume and shoved each in the chest, Orange County Sheriff's Capt. Bernie Presha said Wednesday.

The photographers, a male and female whose names were not released, work for Kodak at the park.

Jeffrey Kaufman, Chartrand's attorney in the Tigger case, said the new claims were bogus.

"Goofy is always playful," Kaufman told the Orlando Sentinel. "Of course he was goofing around because he was Goofy!"

Earlier this year, Disney suspended Chartrand after a 13-year-old accused him of fondling her while he was dressed as Tigger. A jury acquitted Chartrand of those charges, and Disney let him return to work August 6.

SO.... He gropes people as Tigger and now shoves people as Goofy...
unbeleivable ....

sounds like people trying to a find a way to make money. Reminds me of "i'm a dumb fat ass, so i ate mcdonalds everyday and got fat i think i'll sue because i wasn't warned of it"

If you don't want to be around people acting like characters in a cartoon don't go to disney land simple as that (shoving you, pushing you, rubbing your head give you nuggies, kicking you). Aren't you suppose to loosen up when at disney land? geez. I'd at least fight back

Aether...

you're right, assuming that's the real reason the guy did it.

if he really was playing around, having fun, then yeah, someone is taking this too far....

however, he doesn't exactly have a good track record there at Disney, now does he ?

No personal offence intended, but if I were to accuse you of vulgar, pornographic, disgustingly sick posts would that screw up your track record here, even if you were acquitted by jury trial?

People accuse others of things all the time. We weren't there, we don't know what happened. Our judicial system acquitted him of the fondling charges. Screwed up as our judicial system is, we get to accept the ruling. Does the simple fact that he was accused of doing something inappropriate before mean that he's more likely to have done this?

Look, it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to "fondle" someone while wearing 3 inches of foam around your hand...
This would be akin to wearing 3 of those football fan large hands, and trying to "cop a feel"...please...

Likewise, you're in this HUGE stuffed suit, looking out of a likely 5 inch window max, and you're going to knock a few people, and things, around.

I'm betting these are employees who don't like the guy, possibly because they think he "got away with something", etc., and decided to get rid of him by a second accusation. This time though, with any more negative publicity, this guy's likely to get the boot.... He already lost his fiance' over the first incident, which is really pretty sad...(though he's likely better off for it, if this is how she's going to stick by him)....

Thats horrible...

I always knew Disney was pure evil.

I'm sure this will go on his criminal record, now he's going to be the guy who cleans Goofy's costume

that is ferkin hilarious damn goofy always was my favorite disney character. he is so goofy that is his job to cause some mischiefe they should find his playful nature more delitful, and if a goofy pushes you rip his f***in head off. people are so uptight, always trying to get everything they can out of you. taking advantage of any and all mistakes is shameful. people do things, mistakes are made the honest and good person learns how to forgive.
