I'm starting to think you didn't even read the links!

It was a staged photo of a real nest high above the super bowl where people weren't even paying attention. A little barrel showing is not going to hurt any thing.

Did I mention the picture was STAGED? Petty sure I didnt have since it's in the links but ......

These guys aren't worried about their barrel sticking out because:

a) 99.99% of the general public will never even recognize the nest, much less the barrel (especially from that distance)

b) they are not worried about their position being compromised, because 1)they are not being shot at, and 2)they are not worried about someone hiding from them (in wide open bleachers with no cover)

This is NOT military sniper. This is a security sniper... Big difference, which is obvious if you take two seconds and actually think.

Ah yes. .This is what they did in the 1936 Olympics... Hitler had Nazi snipers setup around Berlin's Olympic Stadium. They probably had their scopes pointed at Jesse Owens.

No, you did not. You were too busy waffling between the sniper should be hidden, and the sniper should be in public view.

A sniper at the super bowl is not there to be out of site and out of mind a mile away, he's there to let a hostile threat know that there's big guns pointed at them

Once again, you should NEVER pull your weapon as a bluff.

Where did you possibly serve that that sort of stupidity is allowed.
