Well considering there is not one quote from the Ayatollah there, and is just another hard line right wing website with an opinion piece from one blogger it carries no credence what so ever. It would be like saying Obama wants to nuke Iran and Pakistan because some right wing blogger posted it on a Fox news website

Do Iran want to see the state of Israel gone? Yes of course they do, Do they want to see all Jews murdered and killed, No of course they don't, if they did they would of already murdered the Jews living in Iran, and yet they don't they protect them, ensure they live in peace and are not harassed, can you say the same for the Israeli regime towards Palestinians and Muslims?

All this talk of Iran nuking Israel is just mind boggling stupidity, Jerusalem is just as sacred to them as it is to the Jews and the Christians, if not more so due to the fervour of their belief, no way will they destroy it, no way will they nuke millions of Palestinians either.

You may like to live in a world of hatred and bile, but at least use some common sense and logic t your arguments

/this.
End thread.
What more can be said?

Well the original article by the semi-official news agency looks like that's exactly what he said. And before you cry mistranslation or that the quote was taken out of context, the news agency itself translates the statement to English at the bottom of the article. Please take a look:

Your "facts" are wrong, I'll only take the time to disprove one:

"The UN's nuclear watchdog says it has information indicating Iran has carried out tests "relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device".

If you do not believe Hezbollah is an Iranian proxy who carries out their dirty work to make Irans hands look clean in the eyes of the "Iran can do no wrong" public, there is probably no hope for you, and no amount of reading or learning will help.

wow dis-info:shk:

To underscore the personal meaning of events of international scope, I offer three scenarios on a small scale. These events don't involve countries and entire peoples. The players are a few individuals, and the setting is a single neighborhood.

It's your neighborhood, and you're one of the players.

Situation One:

Several of Sam's friends are viciously murdered. Sam says he knows who did it, and he can prove it. Most people, including Sam, think that the suspected murderer is hiding in Tom's house. Sam demands that Tom surrender the alleged killer. Tom responds that he'd be happy to do so; Tom requests only that Sam show him the evidence that the suspected killer is, in fact, guilty. Sam insists he has the evidence, so Tom can't imagine why the request would be problematic.

Sam refuses Tom's offer and repeats his demand that Tom surrender the supposedly guilty man without conditions. Tom says again that he'd be glad to comply with Sam's demand; he only asks that Sam offer the evidence that Sam says he has. This back-and-forth continues; neither Sam nor Tom will alter his position. In frustration, Tom finally declares: "Look, I'll do everything you demand. You say you have evidence proving he's guilty. So show it to me. Then you can have him. You can have everything you say you want."

At that point, Sam yells: "THIS MEANS WAR!!" Sam means it. He kills Tom and his entire family, destroys Tom's house, murders several of his neighbors and wrecks much of the neighborhood.

Seeming Madness: The Suffocating Unreality that Kills

How would you describe Sam's behavior? Note that, in all of these scenarios, Sam's victim repeatedly assures Sam that he can have whatever Sam says he wants. Every time, despite the fact that Sam can have everything he says he wants -- and despite the further fact that Sam gets everything he says he wants -- Sam's only response is: "THIS MEANS WAR!!"

We can certainly conclude that what Sam says he wants is not what he actually wants. The scenarios compel a further conclusion, an especially terrible one: what Sam actually wants can be achieved in only one way -- the destruction of his victim. And as I've indicated, the destruction always encompasses more than just a single victim: other people are destroyed as well.

It is tempting to say that Sam is a homicidal maniac. In one sense, that's true, and I will not argue the point. But the full truth is far worse: what if Sam isn't "just" a homicidal maniac? What if he knows exactly what he wants and has set in motion a plan to achieve it? Note this: so far, Sam's plan has worked.

****
For this is the view of the ruling class: "America is God. God's Will be done."

What they want is dominion over the world. They intend to have it. In pursuit of this aim, as they believe the necessity arises, they will destroy anyone and anything that stands in their way. To describe their behavior as insane is to miss the much more critical point, and to minimize the far greater danger. They know exactly what they're doing. They're hoping that you do not. To date, far too many people oblige them.

Don't help them in their pursuit of brutality, oppression, murder and vast destruction. I state again: they know exactly what they're doing. Be sure you judge them accordingly.

Here's an entire speech recently (linked below) given by Khamenei. Worth an entire read.

We have had great experiences in the past 32 years. It is 32 years since we have been combating the enemies, we have been resisting, and gained victory over our enemies. There has been no single scheme that the West and the US have refrained from. They have not done everything, because they could not. They did all they afforded and at all points they were smacked in the mouth and defeated. It will be the same afterwards. After this, too, they will fail in all schemes against the Islamic Republic; this is a divine promise to us and we have no doubt.

"It will be the same afterwards"....after what?

We do not doubt the trueness of divine promises. We do not suspect God. God blames those who doubt Him; and “He may punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Polytheists men and women, who imagine an evil opinion of Allah. On them is a round of Evil: the Wrath of Allah is on them: He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them: and evil is it for a destination.” The promise of God is a true promise. We have entered the field, inside the battlefield — the Iranian nation has brought all its facilities onto the stage; thus, divine victory is definite. In all other countries it is the same. But we should be alert. We all should be alert. We all should be careful about the enemies’ deceits. The enemy tries to neutralize movements, and sow discord.

They've entered the "battlefield"? What facilities were brought onto the "stage" to ensure "divine victory"?

Today, this is a basic and tangible example; all the media organizations in the world are trying to isolate the people of Bahrain and the movement in Bahrain. What is their claim about this? It is the issue of Shia and Sunni [faiths]. They want to create divisions, want to create distinction and demarcation. There are no differences among those Muslims and believers who follow this or that Islamic faith. The common among them all is Islam. The common point is the Muslim Ummah. The common point is solidarity among the Muslim Ummah. The key to the continuation and victory of the movement is reliance on God, confidence in God, trust in God and maintaining unity and integrity.

No differences in Shia and Sunni? Then why did Iran execute a Sunni last week and say that they considered the growing trend of Sunni Islam in a particular region to be a national security threat?

The first thing that popped into my mind is, what evidence is there that the site the published the doctrine is in any way connected to the very top of the Iranian Government? The US Government has made it clear that the internet is a dangerous place. It is full of hackers, spies, fraud and copyright infringement. The Internet needs to be regulated to keep us safe. So how do we know that this doctrine comes from Ayatollah, through a proxy website (of course).

That being said, let us assume for a moment that the report is accurate. Let us assume this is 100% true and this is coming from the Ayatollah himself. It does raise a new question about the right of a Country to defend itself and at what point can a preemptive strike be considered defense?

I think that is a fair question. The US and Israel have openly discussed attacking Iran in order to shut down it's nuclear program and prevent them from ever gaining a nuclear weapon. Many people feel this is a good idea. This idea is a preemptive strike against Iran. You can spin it any way you want, but Iran has attacked no one. Going into the Country and striking Nuclear sites, for the purpose of preventing Iran from getting a weapon is a preemptive strike.

This comes from the OP's article.

Because Israel is going to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, Iran is justified in launching a pre-emptive, cataclysmic attack against the Jewish state, the doctrine argues.

So it says they want to attack because Israel wants to attack them. I am having a hard time understanding why Iran should not make this argument? If we simplify this it is the same as if Joe Blow who lives 3 houses down from me is outside everyday threatening to kick in my front door an invade my home. Would I been within my rights to walk out my home while he was making these threats and punch him the mouth? That is literally how I view this. Iran is being threatened daily.

If a person were threatening me daily, I can honestly say that the person already screwed up. He should not have talked about it, he should have just done it. Now that I know his intentions, I wont wait for him to attack me. I will attack him first and take him out. That is human nature... at least that is my nature. I know this because I have been in this situation. I know how I reacted. I know how I would react today. I dare anyone to stand within arms reach of me and tell me that you are going to do me harm. Before you even finish your sentence about what your going to do to me, I will hit you in the mouth. Is this not the same principle?

Reza Kahlili is a pseudonym for a former CIA operative in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and author of the award-winning book, “A Time to Betray.” He is a senior fellow with EMPact America and teaches at the U.S. Department of Defense’s Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy.

Need we say more??????
This is pure propaganda.......fear mongering of the worst sort.......
Should this be even half true they would have been bombed already.....
Theres a good deal of overstatement being made by both sides these days...
Its plain that Iran is being demonized by most western media to the point that it is stretching belief.

I am not the one focusing on "bolshevik Jews", so please direct your comments to the relevant poster- though no doubt the rise of the National Socialists was inspired by Versailles, the spectre of communist takeover as well as issues with Jews

and then pull out of those countries and we would have all lived in peace after, right? I suppose the White Russians, Roma and others they killed they must have mistaken for jews? Right?

I have no idea why you are directing these comments at me, I made the point about invasion occurring after war was declared on Germany- same goes for those other points, pogroms and mass killings occurred in war time, so I have no idea what would or would not have happened if war had been declared

More on Reza Khalili, author of article linked to WND:

He spent an idyllic childhood in Tehran, the capital of Iran, surrounded by a close-knit upper middle-class family and two spirited boyhood friends. The Iran of his youth allowed Reza to think and act freely, and even indulge a penchant for rebellious pranks in the face of the local mullahs.

His political and personal freedoms flourished while he continued his education in America during the ’70s. He returned to Iran shortly after the Revolution eager to help rebuild his country, honestly believing that freedom and democracy would prevail and lead his country into a glorious future.

Instead of finding a new beginning for his country, he discovered a tyrannical ayatollah bent on plunging Iran into a dark age of religious fundamentalism and causing his fellow countrymen to turn on each other. Shaken to his very core after witnessing the atrocities at Evin Prison, atrocities that hit very close to home, a shattered and disillusioned Reza embarked on a mission that would change his life forever. He returned to America and emerged as “Wally,” a spy for the CIA.

The Nazis had a war plan drawn up well before the Western front for invading France and skirting the Maginot Line by invading the Netherlands and Belgium. Are you honestly denying that the Nazis had world conquest on their minds?

Fair enough. But in times of trouble, people tend to look to more extreme governments as history will show. I dont doubt the hardships bought on by Versalilles facilitated the Nazis rise to power. Hitlers inflamatory speeches early on focused on just that, the unfairness and hardships bought on by Versaillies.

Your comment seems to indicate your doubt that Germany would have acted as an aggressor had the Western powers not declared war against them. I think it is hopelessly naive to think they would have stopped with their gains and become a peaceful country. Perhaps you would have agreed with Neville Chamberlin and given them any and all of their demands? Just curious, would you have advocated war after they attacked Poland?

Unfortunately religious nut cases are not reasonable people, whether zionist or muslim if people are taught (indoctrinated) to beileve "their" god chose them as his favourites you got a problem, and while they believe this the problem exsists. Religion has been about for 2000 years now and from day ONE has been causing wars and suffering. WAKE UP !

I stopped believing in the god nonsense when I was about six yo in a bible class, couldnt then (and to this day still cant) get my head around how a god can have favourites (chosen people).
