Yeah to address your point about Syria, my how that non-stop 24/7 brainwashing of the herds mass-media campaign came to a complete halt overnight, now did it not?

These bought and paid for slime balls don't even attempt to hide their orchestrated campaigns anymore. When the results are not what they predicted, they simply order their lap dogs in the media to pull the plug.

Yes you are right. I was wondering the other day where all the news had gone? (comparatively speaking that is). As i see it, Russia pulled a neat trick and backed the warmongers into a corner.
Meanwhile Fukushima gets very little attention...

The video is a fake. I've heard it used too many times. Someone actually showed where the audio was taken out of a movie (I think it was the new War of the Worlds or something.)

However, I heard a sound sometime last year, when I lived in Provo, UT. It was nothing like this. It was a loud, low hum that lasted for several hours and sounded kinda magnetic. I didn't think to record it, unfortunately, but I never heard it before or again after that. It left me feeling uneasy.

Strange, I cannot star you. ATS what's up?
To you point and that of SheopleNation also, while it is true the corporate media have eased off on their attempt to encourage support for a US led war against Syria, it is hardly the case that this is due to Russia interceding. There has been a massive popular outpouring of hostility amongst he US population. So much so it took congress and the Pentagon by surprise. That is why they are currently attempting to work through the UN via sanctions and whatever means to their war with Syria. This is how they went about the invasion of Iraq. Remember there was a similar groundswell of opinion against invading Iraq.

Be sure of one thing. The US ruling class and their supporters elsewhere, such as France, will be going to war with Syria. That is a definite! Mark my words. Do not think for a moment that a NATO-type bombing campaign, an invasion (maybe via proxy) and ultimately replacement of the Assad regime with something far more pliable and subservient has somehow slipped from their agenda. Stay alert to developments.

BTW Russia or more precisely the Kremlin has closed down the Russian Academy of Sciences - apparently to rein in spending, but that translates as slashing the budget for good science in order to channel the funds into the coffers of the ruling elite in that country. So I wouldn't be looking at the Russia's leaders as all that differently motivated to their American counterparts, or those in any other nation at present. It is all a bit like a giant chess game. In the case of the US they are playing for the entire board, in the case of Russia, well it is arguable that they would if they could. Russia though, does not find themselves relatively speaking in such a financial / economic tailspin as the US is in, they do not hold the reserve currency, and they do not hold the singularly strong playing card of having the world's most powerful military, three important factors in the decisions being made by America's ruling elite.

Now back to topic.

The strange sounds warning us of incoming and soon, could well be connected with the coming tail of Ison due to directly impact the Earth very early in 2014. Could be a large number of meteorites (meteors that hit the ground) coming off of that. Already a number of very strange anomalies found with this comet. For example, the strange shape of the mass, more like a solid object than a ball of ice and dirt, as well as the electrical interaction it had with the planet Mars when it passed.

"Those visual people using larger telescope also often remark about the odd way the comet looks, while those using relatively small scopes and big binoculars report seeing a larger, more-or-less faint but uniform cometary mass," he added. "This comet is currently at a distance from the sun where it should no longer exhibit such a dichotomy of appearance.” Bortle has observed several hundred comets and yet, he writes, "At this stage of the game, with the comet about to cross the orbit of Earth, I cannot recall any previous comet in my 50-plus years of comet observing looking quite like this. So, what does ISON's current look foretell, or mean? I honestly don't know. All I can say is I don't like the odd look of it at this time."

I have no idea at all how the strange sounds heard in those locations flagged on the Strange Sounds Tracker on google map (see the top of page 28 for the link) come about, that is the source. That one is something I will leave to you. Maybe to do with whatever is going on with Earth changes. You can see in the spread of the flags on the map a pretty close alignment the diagonal line a strike of a really large CME burst from the sun, one that might deliver protons to the Earth's surface - according to the Earth's tilt at the expected time of ISON's passing. You could see the flags as marking a sear mark on the side of the globe facing the ejector mass.

That is interesting is it not? Also a bit sobering.

The first video you posted. That's audio from the Kiev incident. Trust me, I know it. Too many people are attemptign to hoax this. The real noises sound like a large airplane that is far too low, and it continues on for five to fifteen minutes.

I don't have a problem with theory speculating, but you have to start off your thread with a video that is not one of the hoaxes.

100%, where i am, South East Queensland, these sounds have been extremely prominent in the last month.
Although there is an air force base situated in south east Queensland my place of employment is at least 80 kilometers from the base itself in a rural setting.
At some points the noise itself will go on for at least half an hour and sound like a herc or C-17 doing circle work above you, the air also has a "heavy" feeling to it, the sound will then fade out then start up again and last all day as in a 12 hour shift day, until it just blends into the background noise. but at some stages its like the pitch is turned up until you take notice again and you look skyward and can feel it.
just my observations, when I question my co-workers they just seem to say yeah i can hear it, i have been looking for the airplane but haven't found it yet?

There are several posts here claiming the video posted in my original post at the top is a hoax. None bother to back up that claim with evidence beyond vague references of people recording audio bits from movies. This is BS. Yes there are many hoaxes of the strange sound heard around the globe. Youtube is full of these. Some are more convincing than others. But let's face it, Youtube like Wikileaks is open to any and all to post whatever they like that they are able to get away with, you are bound to be getting a lot of fabrication along with your facts. Unless you are a respected specialist in that particular area and know where to find evidence that supports or refutes the claims in the video, or find some source that does the same how are you to tell? You can't.

That video has also been supported by others living within the same area. So you can believe it or not. Doesn't matter much at this point because I am unable to replace it. Even if I could I wouldn't. I like it.

As for the 'hum'. This is part of a phenomenon going back to the 1940s, to London and Southhampton! Go research in Wiki So, no it is not the same phenomenon as 'the hum'.

As for jet engines. Yes, many have said that it resembles that sound. Many also say it resembles the sound of the singing bowl familiar to some who have knowledge of Tibetan culture. This is a harmonic produced by running a wooden stick around the rim. Think of running a finger around the rim of a crystal glass to get a distinctive harmonic sound. This singing bowl sound is to me the most analogous. To some this may well resemble jet engines, but remember these have a fairly wide range of sounds depending on what the operator is doing and in what kind of conditions that operation is being conducted (take off, landing, evasive action in a storm etc).

Consider this video then. This is where I got the info about most these being hoaxes. I'll look at the op video to see if it also carries the key sounds mentioned that indicate it is the same audio. If it doesn't, that still doesn't mean its real. It just means they got a bit smarter and took out or edited out the key sounds that would reveal it as a fake.

Edit: trying to get the vid to work properly.

I live in Washington state. One night last week I couldn't sleep. At around 3:00am I went outside and sat on my back deck thinking the night air might help. Usually it's completely silent here in the middle of the night. That night there was a constant loud sound. It reminded me of an airplane waiting to take off. At first I thought a large plane may have been traveling overhead but dismissed that because of the duration of the sound. When I went in about forty minutes later and the noise was still happening. There was no logical explanation for it.

So I listened to the OP video and if you listen carefully it kinda sounds like there are birds in the background. I go out and do a lot of stargazing. Since when do birds chirp at night?

Also the sound like immediately cuts off when you hear him jiggle to door handle to get into the studio. No natural fade, either. It like gets cut off mid blast.

Yeah, that's what the "hum" I was talking about sounded like. A jet engine, but it lasted for hours and it seemed more magnetic in sound than electric.

The ones that people record sounding like trumpets, like the OP video are the fakes IMO.

To hear the real sound that someone else recorded in the area (even if I heard it in September and he in July) watch this:

I was looking at other such sounds that have been reported to having been heard in my state. This one was in Clearfield (which is near Hill Air Force Base) on March 16th of this year. I've seen at least two different videos with the same sound marked for the same date.

This one is another that sounds legit to me.

Ah, 'Sky Shouts', a ridiculous hoax. I cannot believe that anyone would think these to be heralding anything morbid and full of dread. We are all supposed to be sophisticated intelligent people, with the faculty of discernment, and yet many allow themselves to be victims to their own superstitions.

You really do need to grow out of the adolescent self-scares. It is just a joke to make some people (usually American) think that the rapture or the end of days is about to start. It is not a phenomenon, it's not natural, the original sound is man-made, and it's been hoaxed by others. It really is as simple as that. There is nothing to it.

Yes, I know, it does seem a tad odd that two different people would be recording at nearly the exact same moment as when the sound starts, grows in volume, and then stops. I did think of this. It is possible it is a hoax. Better one than using that same Kiev sound from War of the Worlds though, claiming it's trumpets, as it sounds very similar to the legit ones I've heard myself.

Still, while improbable, two people recording at the same time, still could happen...

Queensland is a very big state. Give me a place name I can fix the flag to and I will pin it on the Sound Tracker for you.

According to that map you posted, the weird sounds aren't warning us all. They're just warning the first world countries. I wonder why?

One of the best question posed on this thread. The vast majority of the countries are first world. Keep it in mind people, but let's leave divine retribution out of it if we can. Some more plausible explanations, puleeze.

Well, really, the answer to that is that first-world countries have people who are highly more likely to have a camera on hand, cause almost everyone has a cell phone and these are almost always equipped with cameras. Even if the camera does not catch the video, it can record the sound and then be uploaded.

Even someone as low down on the social scale as me has a cell phone, a laptop, and a few other basic electronics that are the low-quality POS sort of systems that even those on my level often bypass and save and splurge on something with much more capacity and capability. I don't know how many people who are on SSI/SSDI's homes I've walked into to find high-end plasma TVs, high-end computers, and all manner of things I wonder how in the hell they managed to procure. Just like my ex's sister who travels to Ireland each year, yet she only lives on SSI funding.

Other countries, such things are luxuries, and the only knowledge of such events would be from first-hand accounts and would only remain local knowledge.

Back in the early days of this thread I attempted to set down very general guidelines so that we wouldn't get lots of clutter from well meaning posters who actually heard the sound of a neighbor's playing Halo at 3am, etc. I have already pointed out we need to be looking at some low pitched sound that is felt to some degree as well as heard - like the engines of a jet airliner... and to beware of blatant rips from War of the Worlds, etc See my post here

.

Thanks for posting your refutal video - but to me this might as well be an attempt to kill the story (psyops). Look, in my book the guy does not successfully shoot down either video. The strange sound heard at that baseball game cannot be ruled out on the basis of a single recording of a comment by an official commentator for a couple of reasons. 1. It is an of the moment observation - and a guess at best. 2. Anyone could simply record that comment, play about with it a bit on any half decent editing software and then edit it in - basically he could be accused of the very same trick he argues lies behind videos of the strange sound. You seem to be overlooking a lot of firsthand witness reports surfaced about the sound heard at that baseball game. There were numerous videos of that game with comments by different announcers as well as reports carried in a number of media sources See here

Yes, there are people getting off on uploading hoax videos. Youtube is full of that. In the end, we have to look at each source and make our own minds up. If a number of posters from different sources support a witness account and particularly with video then I think we can say that incident has a higher percentage chance of being a genuine example of the phenomenon. That is all we can say.

To your last post above -
Mobile phones are everywhere. You can find them in fishing villages from Somalia to the farthest islands in the Philippines. Your conjecture is miles away from the truth of the matter.
