Nobody has specifically said it's the work of Satan. The common theme in this thread is that there are clear indications of occult symbols being used. This stuff ties more into Babylonian and Egyptian mystery religions than it does Satan, per say. But you will find the concept of illumination found all through out occult literature (as well as the all seeing eye). Both these concepts are presented clearly in the performance although what the nature of it really is remains unknown to the casual observer and appears as a bunch of egyptian, greek, and roman themes strewn together to someone who's never read about the occult or practiced it in any form.

Those who relate it to Satan, do so because of the school of thought prevalent among Luciferians in which Lucifer is perceived as being the light bringer, or giver of illumination. He's seen as being such because they believe mankind was essentially ignorant in the garden of eden (or in his animal state if you will) and Lucifer "freed" man through the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. They believe the God of the bible to be a tyrant, and Lucifer to be mankind's true savior. Believe it or not, many people in positions of power are practicing occultists. One can even define Freemasonry as an occult practice, and how many U.S presidents are known freemasons?

There are entire volumes and tomes written about this stuff. You can choose to pretend it doesn't exist if you like, but that does not make it so.

EDIT: I should also add that OCCULTISM does not necessarily mean SATANISM. Although that depends on who you ask. Most Christians would define anything of an occult nature as having it's origins in the work of fallen angels. Practicing occultists naturally see things much differently. It's important not to look at this stuff and immediately see a bunch of bible thumpers screaming about Satan. There is in fact clear occult imagery through the entire performance. Which school of thought is being promoted is what should be questioned here. Why is something that the majority of people won't even notice or understand being flaunted so publicly? That's the question that should be asked. We know for certain that Madonna is a practicing Qabbalist. Anyone who's ever read even one book on ritual magick know's that the Qabbalah is a huge part of many circles of Occultism (freemasonry included).

yeah well i think the real joke is that we are still superstitious and maybe a little backwards but who am i to judge? And i think this was, albeit, inadvertently demonstrated here and a byproduct of, most likely, unintended reaction.

Probably the motivation was: "like how can we have the dancers wear as little as possible and still have nice costumes?"

All i do know is i never feared a symbol, never feared (legitimately) ghosts or demons but sure is a lot of reason to fear certain living creatures.

Sadly, most of this occult crap was formed in drug addled brains.

This is precisely why it's so concerning. I'm not suggesting anyone should be afraid. Rather that people should be aware of the kind of imagery they are being exposed to and ask why. You don't have to believe in hobgoblins and evil spirits to be concerned that some of the worlds richest and most influential people do believe in this stuff.

It's like when people talk of Iran's leader believing in the 12th Imam and bringing about the apocolypse. Sure it's crazy talk, but the problem is HE believes it and will act accordingly....that's where the danger is.

Its kind of weird reading this stuff now. To me the OPs idea of the Illuminati is an illusion in which many have fallen victim to. My views have chamged as I believe there is a great darkness out there but it all starts with you. Become light, do not dwell in the code of darkness and your enemies will be revealed. The world is crazy and I wish I could find people who see it the way I do.

There is always a conspiracy.

This is how they show themselves to the ignorant masses that have no clue. Their believes, their history, it's all there. We just have a hard time believing a secret society like the Illuminati exists. But they existed, and they obviously still do. They leave their symbols behind everywhere. They hide in plain sight. I've given up on denying this. It's too evident that they do exist. These people are deep into occultism and black magic, and enough evidence has been gathered to substantiate that. This is just their PR stunt, to show it to the world, to those who care to see it.

I'm not entirely sure what to think here. Sure there's symbolism involved, there is pretty much everywhere. Should you be more concerned about an "entertaining" show, in the middle of a "sports" event or more about your governments and leaders waging illegal wars and banks owning your lives.

I'd go for the later and just accept this "show" for what it was, quite entertaining and actually quite impressive.

I think you're all running for the hills and panicking at the slightest little thing when you really should be sh1tting yourselves about what the MSM is telling you about Syria and Iran and how our westernised governments are going to get us involved in in the very very near future.

That is understandable. Look at the porn industry and what it does to kids barely past 18, vulnerable, on drugs or not all together mentally fit. These people are the real scum bags and in my opinion worse than most criminals. Pop culture and art is nowhere near as bad as those animals.

Of course that kind of predator is in all cultures, sometimes manifests itself differently like sexual slavery and human trafficking but it is still there and same type of degenerates.
