The beauty and the dangerous both side by side really must've been awesome to see in person. Good find!

The pictures have been enhanced... looked almost fake or cartoon effect. Why enhance the color to a point of unreal?I understand you didn't soot them but I don't see what the ''Aww'' is all about with the faked pictures.

There's always one.

Great pictures. What a sight that must have been to see live. The feeling of awe that comes over a person when seeing nature and the universe in action.Just moving along like it has for millions of years.Oblivious to our arrogance and self importance.A very humbling experience to see the northern lights but to witness it as the backdrop to an eruption is spectacular.I envy you.I get awe struck when I go outside the city and stare up at the night, I could only imagine how that must have felt.Awesome stuff!

BEAUTIMOUS. INCREDIBLE.

What are the projections for the eruption?

What about melted glacial damage?

How are the other volcanoes there?

Guess I am not the only one to select a few of these as desktop backgrounds. Excellent find. I always marvel at nature's beauty.

Thanks! I'm happy to hear that, I'm a canon girl myself haha. But thanks for the link OP, northern lights & a volcanic eruption, I can't imagine... seeing both are on my bucket list.
