Hi. Im posting this thread to state what i have bin thinking.. I read a post on here where iran was supposed to invade the U.S. I also know the U.S is a war mongering country. Personally i think the u.s has no idea what its like to look outside thier doors an see dead people laying on the streets. Or to be eating dinner an have to worry about thier house being blown to peices. I have seen more than enough evidence to see that they abuse thier power when in another country. For those of you that are all for war, i personally believe you are evil. Innocent people die in those wars you support. Just my thoughts anyways.. If iran does attack the united states you will see how those people felt when you guys invaded them.. Leave your thoughts on how i am wrong.

I dont believe your wrong at all, I also must say that most of us americans want nothing but peace with other countrys, if only we really had a say with what our government does, But, we do not. We dont want war, we certainly dont want to live in fear. But these things our out of our hands. Just make it quick.

Honestly...I don't know ONE person that wants to go to war with Iran.. I certainly do not want any kind of war..I think the media lives in a different realty than the rest of us..I was watching CNN this morning and they were out right saying that Israel and the US are ready for a strike on Iran..I think they are just waiting to have more ships in place to do the job..I was dumbfounded by this..I cannot believe we are going to go to war with these people..CNN said that our govt knows there are sleeper cells in the US and that they will strike us hard if we do attack. Basically, Iran is saying that there will be many causalities (my guess is dirty bomb, bio attack) inside our borders.

All of this is frightening to say the least...but what am I supposed to do??

None of us really want war, but many don't have the will power to stand together as one and tell them to stop misrepresenting us. But who are we? We are in their eyes the bottom feeders, the sheep, the ones without a voice loud enough to speak over the greedy owners of media. People will still vote because it's how they were conditioned. They still think their vote matters and will make a difference. Every person in this country would make a bigger statement if no one voted, told the federal government to get #ed and leave. But we are as a whole slaves until we realize we have a bigger potential and purpose. Too many people who have manipulative influence can persuade millions with a few words because they have that type of power and control. If every single person in this country was shown to understand the type of corruption that goes on not only in the world, but the enslaved states, they wouldn't even care. So what, wheres my super bowl game, my case of beer and my comfy #ing couch? It's that easy. I can't help but laugh. What else can i do? All i can do is try my best not to be apart of the problem and better myself.

Do you think i agree with what the government and their employers do? No. The people who want war are the ignorant people who still think all muslims are extreme religious fundamentalists whos only purpose to being a muslim is to strap a turban bomb to their head and blow up innocent people.

we could do so much better with what we got. If mankind stopped thinking like monkeys we would live in a world worthy of our deepest heartfelt affection and testament to our existence here together.

What are we truly lacking that stops us from creating the world we are all striving to create for ourselves, but for each other?

Can we not learn to use other skill sets. Our military might is only retarding our progress as a people. We have missed the opportunity while in "good" times to make permanent our legacy to mankind.

We traded our "light of the world" for the wealth of a few decades. Now our power is challenged and we tune up the war machine as before, but the old gal is starting to buck and overheat. It's a burning system. Eventually you run out of things to burn. The fires set upon our constitution, our traditions, and our page in history are the new light we offer the world.

Once a beacon for freedom and true society. Now a whore house with hired muscle and racketeering on the side.

Our citizens are living in a frenzied existence from pay check to pay check. They are living in fear of being thrown in prison for being the wrong "type". We as a people have lost faith in our communities and turn to higher powers or lower more miserable reasons for the why or why the hell not.

We have lost touch with our noble past. The spirit was never preserved on papers and laws. Our rights and liberties were not ensured by the written oath of commandment. We keep these things when we are those things.

You are as free as you can allow yourself to be before you begin to do things you never would have done normally. Then you are not free, you are just being told that you are.

If the American people truly ALL wanted not to go to these wars, would the US government respect that?
Would we be thrown in prison for speaking about something that is unjust? Will our grandchildren still get to decide what their country is in the world?

Will our descendants even be allowed to remember us?

I agree about the war hawks. They just want to see "Merica whip some ass" They are completely crazy and have lost their morals. They think they are supporting a great cause and I wouldn't doubt that they feel God is on their side.

Americans don't want war. Americans want want all other people want. To be safe. To enjoy our friends and family. To work. To play.

It's not just the US.

Any country (including my own) that has not experienced bloody wars right on its front doorstep truly has no clue to the atrocities.

When people step out their front door to find buildings and entire cities annihilated all around them, their neighbours' and loved ones' brains and guts splattered about everywhere, enemies raping pillaging and plundering everything held sacred, hiding themselves in cubby holes desperately trying to stay alive and not be captured by the enemy... Then and only then would they take on an entirely different view to what a fullscale all out war really means.

The western world is overrun by wannabe GI Joes thinking they're safe and sound in their motherland.

Your absolutly right.... I am American, but I realize and do my own research on why we are really at war!!! the only reason the middle east has what we call terroist is becasue between 1992 and 2001 leading to 9/11 we dropped over 2500 tomahawk missles and had over 300 infiltration missions, killing 100's-1000's of innocent people each year..

The US Government created the terrorism!!!!!!! The US Government knew of the 9/11 attacks before they happend!!!!

And for all the 9/11 theorist, it wasnt a hoax all but 1 or 2 of the attackers were Saudi's, and why? because Saudi Arabia was were 3 of or major military bases were on between 1992-2001, were we launched all the missions and drone attacks on civilians. There are mutliple videos on youtube with the United Nations were the Saudi's demanded that we be forced to withdraw all troops and drones from there lands... they were more pissed at us than the people we were bombing, mostly Iraq.

Now we are creating an issue with Iran!!!! do the research all we are doing is creating the problem and then making it seem like we have the solution.. WAR!!! who gets rich on war?? you?? me???? only the ELITES who own the biggest defense companies, and the oil companies etc....

If we go to war with Iran, it is all of our fault not theirs... they have beef with Isreal, what the hell does that have to do with us????? NOTHING!!!!!!!!! they only threatin the US and Isreal because we threatin and bully them first, but we (Americans) only get the side of the story the media wants to portray... they are controlled!!!

I'm a little tired and crochety, so please make allowances for my bluntness. It's not my normal condition. I am not trying to be rude.

1.) Would someone list Iran's faults in the present situation?

2.) If we pull out everything from the Middle East, support, military, everything, what do youu think it will look like in five years? Will any wars have been fought there in those five years?
