Isn't there a biblical prophecy stating that Israel has to fight off all the muslim nations of the world? I don't think that could happen now with the US the way it is. Maybe if we were under Martial Law or in a post major catasrophe like the fault in California going Ape# or the Yellowstone Super Volcano.

It's not impossible for one of those things to happen even just later this year that could take the US equation out of the picture. But with the US out of the picture I doubt Israel would have the guts to attack. Unless Iran and others attacked first. But even still I don't see that happening.

This'll probably just end up with a "joint" attack by the US and Israel, as our Governmental puppets send more of our friends, family, brothers, and neighbors to die in another decade long quagmire. And by Joint attack I mean the US will do all the fighting and dying while Israel might send a few jets in.

Neither option is very great...

Israel would have not problem blowing Iran off of the map and making once habitable land hotter than the day side of Mercury.

Israel will also be backed by the U.S. so ANYTHING that Iran tries will be sticks and stones in arms comparison.

First bomb to fall on Iran the oil companies would push gas prices to $5. per gallon even tho there would be no danger to supply shipping.

Israel is America's greatest ally. Theres absolutely no chance that the Iranian military could hold a candle to Israels military might.

Israel has always been a "warrior nation", so to speak. And, with the US military budget behind them there is basically no opponent great enough to contest them.

I would take anything from Iranian state TV with a grain of salt.

The only thing I can really say about this Iran situation is..
The US government want to go to war with Iran. They require an excuse and they will find one. They will invade under the pretense of some strange and unverifiable story. Or, mysteriously, an attack on an allied country will take place and Iran will get the blame. The blame will then be backed up videos which are released on to the internet via an apparent "leak".
Regardless of what the reason is... one WILL be found and the U.S WILL invade Iran.

If Iran launched nukes at Israel there is absolutely no way that they would not kill a lot of palestinians along with Israelis

Plus much of the radioactive fallout would spread across the arabian peninsula and land in Saudi arabia along with many other Arab countries.

When Arabs start dieing from Iranian nukes who to you think the Arabs are going to go after. they will go after the Persians that killed there people.

And that does not even cover any nukes that might fall short and drop on a Arab country.

The Iranian missile program is young and high rates of failures will be common and accuracy low.

Iran has little if any long range aircraft to hit Israel with but Israel has aircraft that can hit Iran

Thing is if this Iran and Israel conflict finally kicks off, and the U.S gets dragged in I'm suspecting the Gulf war all over again.

Then Iran acts like the Victim and blah blah blah, conflict starts bubble up again. Rinse wash repeat.

A war against the Iranian army, would be nothing like the war against Afghan/Iraqi Terrorist(or people I don't feel like getting to deep into the whole terrorist or not argument) is that fighting a actually military is much different then fighting guerrilla war. You have to battle against politically/religion ideology. A war against hearts and minds, were there is no land to capture or strategic military assets to take out. Its the reason Vietnam was a failure, why the East India trading company failed, and the American Revolution succeed. You're fighting an enemy that has nothing to loss and everything to gain.

In a real modern war? Theres no full term occupation, no building a stable government, no winning hearts and minds. The Iranian Military has no feasible way to get to start landing troops in the U.S. Or to attack our Factories that produce weapons, or have the resources to maintain a war for a long period time.

Now if they resort to Terrorism, and this becomes an Occupation like with Iraq and Afghan then all the U.S can do is bump up security against such measures.

Another fork in the road is that the West doesn't get involved at all. If that happens then I wouldn't have a good guess, but it increases Iran's chance.
