You are a rarity caladonea, we need more females on the planet like you! So many women nowadays, I will not say all, but a lot of them are materialistic to the point of no return, which is why it is really hard to find the good ones hahah.

I always sort of thought that dating was the human mating ritual. I mean, you go on dates and stuff in practice for or looking for a mate. Even if you're only dating for sex (like out at "the club"), it's still part of the whole practicing thing; it's still a piece of that elaborate mating ritual thing.

When you get a prostitute, it's explicitly for just fulfilling a biological urge.

Oh, I think it worked out fine. Actually, I said don't spend your post judging me...mostly because that is wasting their time and they are passing an opportunity to discuss the subject, likenesses, and why its ok to make some forms of reasons for intercourse illegal and others are fine.
And some simply couldn't think that far ahead...wasting their post instead on insulting me (not me though, but the originator of the concept verses someone whom actually does want to ban dating).
Its ridiculous to propose such a thing..and thats the point actually..its also ridiculous to make escorting illegal..and its time people stop living this accepted double standard regardless of if they personally partake in it.

But ya, some decided to simply judge me the person suggesting the idea verses the idea itself and its merits/flaws. It doesn't effect me, but it did waste up bandwith for them to become a pariah of opinions over substance.

It was pretty transparent what the intentions were for anyone whom actually bothered to read and mentally compare. a single likeness = comparison. To say there is no comparison is to deny any woman has ever used sex to get stuff (car payments, etc)...and anyone that nieve is simply not thinking, or living under a rock..either way, they aren't furthering the discussion based in reality.

That's a form of judgement on people in that you think they're not mentally competent enough to "get you." Many people don't get MY methods, but you're not going to hear me call them stupid.

Most people in this discussion don't "get you" right now and maybe there's a reason for that.

Actually, a quick survey shows most do understand the basics of the discussion...some don't some dont matter. The result is also encouraging, albeit curious...seems again the unanimous agreement is that prostitution should not be illegal, yet why is this? is ATS filled with a bunch of intellects? Whenever this comes up for a vote in most states, its firmly rejected...so why is ATS removed from this factor is my question now.

Seems this discussion should be on a more average public website if it was to do any good...ATS tends to be the exception to the rule of rejection.

the mating ritual is not so they can swap recipes.

Both are aimed at the same point...to practice the act of procreation...just different means to get to the final result.

Dating is a great thing. It gives you companionship, sex, love, and potentially your future husband/wife. How are people going to get married if they never date? How are people going to have children if they never date?

You seem like one of those guys that hate girls because girls won't give you the time of day.

You can't ban dating by saying "well you end up paying for it anyway" cause that's not the case in all relationships.

Dating is the same as it has been since the first caveman wanted to impress the opposite sex..it is for the eventual purpose of mating.
To think otherwise means your just hanging out with friends. Can you say you would be going on a date with the same eventual desires as going to hang with the guys watching the game? no...otherwise you would skip the date and just go screw around with the friends..

People date because they are looking for either love, fun or sex.

But you think girls don't want sex? You're claiming that I, myself, have had to pay for a night out with a girl in order to get laid? You're tripping... I've had one night stands more times than I could ever possibly count and I never, ever, went out on an official 'date' where I had to pay nice things to a girl.

And how is sex related to prostitution, that's one far stretch... it's not a job, it's a mutual agreement between two people, it's not about making money, normal girls don't bring guys out at the back of the bar for a quick blow just because they got paid a beer, those girls already get their sentence being labelled sluts which I don't even agree with because people should be free to have sex with who-ever, when-ever and for what-ever reason they want.

And prostitution is not illegal anywhere in Canada and I'm more than GLAD I don't live in your narrow minded bigot States.
