Likely it's 4 middle aged men and a cat. Probably the same people who spam the networks to be offended at some indecency. You'd be surprised at how few complaints it takes to make a stink over some misplaced marketing.

I think we need to have "One Million Dads Against Christmas" -- and we hold Santa hostage until they meet our demands. Who's with me -- we only need like 3 more dudes to get this army off the ground!

I like it!

Oh wait! I'm not a dude - - I'm a dudette. I can fake it and come in "reverse"drag

Annee -- I only said 4 dudes because I didn't want to have to impossibly raise the bar. As much as any "Concerned Citizen" group is populated by unconcerned former KGB who happen to need a job so William Kristol had to hook a brotha up -- I'm assuming that a "Million Mothers" would have to have absolutely no mothers at all -- just to be consistent with NeoCon / Koch Brothers protocols.

You don't have to dress in drag to join my "One Million Dads Against Christmas". After, all, I'm told I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body -- I'm completely doing the conventional devoted husband thing that should get me straight into heaven -- but I'm doing it in the MOST OBSCENE WAY possible. Every time I'm with my wife, I dream I'm doing it with her clone.

I'm thinking if we got 2 other people, we could march onto the Colbert Report, and put a chainsaw up to the trunk of a small blue spruce. Of course, we would have to wear masks.

Frankly, I think that they should be more offended that the new spokesperson is rather loudmouthed and not a very good comedian, sort of like a female Jim Carrey, but I know that I may be in the minority opinion.

Are you the very public focus of media attention? Do you have paparazzi following your every move with a camera? I didn't think so. Even for those who aren't public figures, if you've ever gone to an event, like a party or other social event - you can't bring your significant other unless you want people to know your sexual orientation. Anytime a gay person wants to bring their significant other along for ANYTHING (trip to the store, walk in the park, to the movies, a dinner party, office party, etc., etc., etc.) they are revealing their sexual orientation. To help those with prejudices feel more comfortable, they have to leave their significant person at home. After a while, gays get a little tired of that. Wouldn't you? People reveal their sexual orientation in all kinds of little ways. Ever been in a conversation with someone at work, where you say something about your husband/wife? You just revealed your sexual orientation. You just don't think about it, because you are one of those in the "moral majority", and haven't had to face prejudice because of who you have chosen to love.

Yes, I do believe you are in the minority on that one. You know JCPenneys had to have done tons of focus groups before they decided on Ellen. They must have gotten a lot of positive response or they wouldn't have chosen her.

NOM/AFA/ONE MILLION MOMS- - All the same self-righteous righting wing Christians.

Is that why you espouse such hypocritical bigotry on here?
Which master do you serve? Government or self?
I ask that because your fight for "rights" is completely one-sided and an embarrassment.

Protesting Gays. NOM spokesman says they have to fight to protect the children.

People are not protesting gays. There protesting the obvious intrusion into the minds and lives of their children.
I'm glad you're hypocritical influence is mostly limited to your grandchild. We can't afford your type of "rights" to prevail in society.
You're not ignorant, you just chose to erode the "rights" of some at the cost of knowing this will eventually hurt everyone's "rights" in the long run.

Yes - actually one does need the government to make marriage legal.

You aren't fooling anyone. The only reason you serve this master is because (for now) you think it's serving you.
You can't manipulate a true master, it knows you serve yourself and not the "rights" of everyone.

Righteous indignation and a hate that needs to be dealt with is what defines you.

Ellen breaks silence on furor over J.C. Penney gig

LOS ANGELES | Tue Feb 7, 2012

(Reuters) - Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres said she was "proud and happy" that retail store J.C. Penney had stood by her in the face of a conservative anti-gay campaign, and said there was no such thing as a "pro-gay bandwagon."

"They (One Million Moms) wanted to get me fired and I am proud and happy to say that J.C. Penney stuck by their decision to make me their spokesperson," she said.

"Being gay or pro-gay isn't a bandwagon. You don't get a free ride anywhere. There's no music. And occasionally we'll sing 'We Are Family' but that's about it," she said.

One Million Moms group "only have 40,000 members on their (Facebook) page. So they're rounding up to the nearest million and I get that."

And here's a very lovely anti-gay sentiment from a Right Wing Christian (not all Christians - in case you miss that). Yes it fits the subject - since One Million Moms is an anti-gay hate group.

Civil Disobedience May Be Necessary If Christians Are To End Their Oppression Chuck Colson says the day may be here for Christians to revolt against the federal government in acts of civil disobedience. You will never be a part of the solution I see, ...

So you dug up a little something....
I could very easily label myself "gay" or "a leftist" and then say whatever the heck I wanted to make the left look bad too.
I don't know if that's the case in your mosh-pit link but I see you've sold your soul and not as a gay rights advocate either.

Shocker! Bill O'Reilly Defends Ellen DeGeneres, Calls Million Moms Boycott a "Witchhunt"

"This JCPenny thing is a witchhunt and shouldn't happen," O'Reilly concluded.

"If you remember with the McCarthy era of the 1950s and they were trying to hunt down communist sympathizers and not let them work and put them on a blacklist…what is the difference between the McCarthy era of the '50s and the Million Moms saying, 'Hey, JCPenny and all you other stores, don't you hire gay people. Ellen Shouldn't Be Fired From Department Store Gig Because of Bigoted Mom Group

Posted by Maressa Brown - February 3, 2012

A group that's affiliated with the right-wing American Family Association, calling themselves "One Million Moms," seems to be living in the early '90s, before the coast was clear for someone like DeGeneres to come out. It's as if they want to turn the clock back to that fearful "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" time. They claim their mission is to "convene like-minded mothers ... fed up with the filth many segments of our society, especially the entertainment media, are throwing at our children." Uh. Huh. thestir.cafemom.com...

I love it how you can't look me in the eye, per se

You seem to be stuck on a hate fantasy that anyone who chooses to keep sex in general from their children's eyes... and that includes gay sex.. that the parents are hate filled.

What you will never see is that there's a difference between rallying against the exposure of sex, (heterosexual or homosexual) that is more and more being shoved into their children's lives against the will of the parents and the opportunity to have family discussions about ... the birds and the bee's.
Most parents prefer to be the first person to influence their children on sex and preferences.
Most parents teach tolerance and love for everyone.

The Million Mom March doesn't live to suppress gay rights. They also rally against guns too.
I'm pro second amendment but I'm not going to attempt to paint their cause into something it's not.

Like it or not, accept it or not, parents have the right to rally just like anyone else.

Can you point out which aspect of the JC Penney campaign you or these moms might find overtly sexual? Can you also point out where in their campaign Ellens sexual orientation is revealed?

This is a group of people targeting a person for being gay, and the company for hiring a gay individual. The JC Penney campaign does not promote or even broach the topic of sex or sexuality. The only way for children to even know who Ellen is, let alone knowing about her sexual orientation, would be from them watching Ellens show on TV - which doesn't seeem very "Million Moms" like. Surely these moms are monitoring their childrens viewing habits. Even then its unlikely they would pick up on her orientation, unless of course a parent/grown up decided they needed to fill the child in - with whatever personal bias they deem necessary.

so in this case you are targeting the rights of a minoruty? You don't feel they have the right to a voice?
A right to petition? The right of free speech without being labeled with hate groups just because you don't like them?

I know, I know, you will claim some moral justification to trash their moral stance...So hypocritical and worst, you can't see it.

If Ellen has 9m on twitter alone what makes you feel she needs special rights? When it comes to a fee market people have the right to not only voice their personal opinion but collectively use their own money to be represented, with their 1'st amendment rights.
The Magna Carta is the source for all our liberties and is becoming at risk by nutcase radicals as yourself of being subverted us, throwing us right back to the middle ages where the state rules over us, telling us what we can and cannot do. Is the Magna Carta homophobic?

It sure is in your views that you want to thrust down the throats to those that know where their liberties are derived and it is not from the state.
The state has been opposing personal liberty from the day that this religious oppression began in the days of Babylon. Why Babylon?
Thats where the idea of making the state god began, as well as the globalist scheme.

As silly as it would be to think that the same-sex “marriage” debate raged in the 1200s, it happens that Professor Esolen inadvertently revealed one of the metaphysical reasons why marriage between one man and one woman is something radically different than any same-sex relationship. In the April, 2011 edition of First Things he writes:

By signing Magna Carta, the king conceded that there were many centers of authority besides his own, from that of his enemy the belligerent duke down to that of the free man in his home.
These other centers of authority were embedded in a history of their own that rightly commanded reverence. Therefore the right of inheritance is the most jealously guarded liberty in Magna Carta. You may not pillage a man’s castle simply because he happens to have died. We mistake the matter entirely if we consider such a right only in terms of wealth retained. The right of inheritance allowed a family the same kind of being extending through the centuries that the nation enjoyed. It honored the family as not merely a biological happenstance within the state but as a metaphysical and political reality that preceded the state.

**warning** the ADF is highly offensive to left wing radical freaks that seek to oppose the 1'st amendment, as is the "Firstthing" from where the author was printed."First Things is published by The Institute on Religion and Public Life, an interreligious, nonpartisan research and education institute whose purpose is to advance a religiously informed public philosophy for the ordering of society."
DO NOT read as it is highly controversial to left wing sensitivities where 1'st amendment issues are discussed.

I newly spit out my sip of wine. Let's just refresh ourselves at this point with the 1963 US Congressional Record and the logged "45 Current Communist Goals"

Step 17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

Step 24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

Step 25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

Step 26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

Step 27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

Step 28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

Step 40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

Step 41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. roadsassy.com...

So, a mere fifty years later all have been accomplished. God is actually now called a "bigot" - exactly where Satan hoped to be in 2012. Those of you still thinking this protest is entirely about a lesbian being a spokeswoman, you are still blinded to what exactly is going on in the western nations. Biblical morals are being axed to allow the rise of Godless children. Know why?

Lenin said it best "The best revolutionary is a YOUTH DEVOID OF MORALS." This million mom protest isn't as stupid as you think. Most of them know exactly what dangers lie directly ahead for everyone, and they know above all, the absolute brainwashing and indoctrination going on in the completely controlled media.

I don't see Ellen Degeneres working for JC Penny's offensive at all unless it she makes it all about being gay. What I do see however is a poster who is hell bent on making the rally much worse and hate filled than it probably is. I don't see anything overtly sexual.
I do see Ellen as a public figure and just because a parent might not allow her show on their tv, doesn't mean the children don't know of her and her sexual preference. That was all over television and it's still a subject on there at times.

I think the MM rally is really based on the fact that gay everything is infiltrating the US everywhere.

Edit to add:
My main concern here is that everyone should be allowed to protest (esp the one's who respect the rights of others while protesting).
What I see in this thread is an ugly hate monster who would rather shut up anyone who's of a faith that they don't like.
There are too many people and the government trying to take ownership over the rights of parents, the rights of the opposition to exercise their 1st Amendment and simply the right to ... disagree.

I remember George Wallace - - the "Great White Hope" politician from Alabama.

He is remembered for his Southern populist and pro-segregation attitudes during the American desegregation period, convictions he renounced later in life en.wikipedia.org...

My grandmother was an avid news watcher. During those times the whole family gathered around the TV to watch the Nightly News. I remember the viral hatred coming from George Wallace and his supporters.

NEVER AGAIN!

There is ZERO leeway or tolerance in prejudice and hatred for the minority group homosexual. Even when it comes primarily from a religious belief.

Justification of enslaving blacks came from religious belief too - - with the Curse of Ham.

Ham (Kam > Kamit) is the biblical ancestor of black people, it is irrefutable judging by the genealogy that is given by the bible; (Genesis ch.10 v.6) “And the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim, and Put and Canaan.” www.afrostyly.com...

There is ZERO acceptance/tolerance for the viral hatred of NOM and AFA. Or any other group fighting to deny a minority group that harms no one - - their equal rights.
