Clinton seeks changes to homeland fund formula

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton wants to decrease the amount of money for homeland security protection Wyoming receives and increase the amount headed to her state.

On Tuesday, the Democratic lawmaker offered an amendment to the Homeland Security Department's spending bill for fiscal year 2005.

The amendment would allocate resources based on factors such as threat, vulnerability, population, population density and the presence of critical infrastructure.

A vote on the amendment was expected to take place late Tuesday night or this morning.

NYC is the prime target in America; Washington , DC already has the anti-everything in place to deal with an attack.

This is the only thing Hillary Clinton has ever done that makes sense. The reason this makes sense is because, when the Homeland Security money was allocated, it was divided equally among the 50 States... but, it should have been divided according to the criteria in bold above. Basically, small, low-threat states like Wyoming ended up with money to burn, while large, high-threat states like New York were jipped...
