my guess is you have issue relating to your own mother, why else would anybody object unless through religious brain washing.

I wanted to mention this in my post with the goat.. Some of the pictures were the same images posted and removed multiple times.

Now Logically if the owner of the website removes the images you post because they violate T&C, is it wise to repost them over and over again?

I got banned from FB for a month for posting some of my art that shows boobies.

Come on now. It's boobies? What's wrong with that?

Give thanks to religion for making something so utterly harmless and good into something dirty.

I have no problem with art.

I wonder how they feel about pictures of sculptures?

The goat one was, well....different.

But in all fairness, it was a picture from a different culture. What some cultures or tribes do in other parts of the world are so far away from what we consider normal, yet they are accepted and very normal for their life.

The very last picture on the last page...I found absolutely nothing wrong with that one. Not even a hint of skin.

I didn't look at all the pages, just the first and last but what I did see wasn't all that shocking. Some were over the top but some were beautiful and artistic.

What a prudish society we've become. God forbid you look at a boob if it's not being shown for sexual allure on a porn site.

on the last page of images is a woman nursing a goat.

And the issue is? Goats are mammals, too. It is a beautiful example of interspecies care.

Like I said, some were tasteful.

The goat was just different .

But on the side of Facebook, minimum age requirement for the site is 13 years old, and I've been online long enough to know that a mother of a 13 year old finding out there are pictures of breasts on the site....some would go absolutely ballistic. Additionally, it is Facebook's site, they have the right to determine what they will allow on the site, and who they allow on their site....because they own it.

Having sex is vastly different to having lunch.

That's right! With lunch you get a beverage.

Just to add, breastfeeding is a beautiful thing that should be celebrated, not hidden.

*cheers*

There is nothing offensive about breast-feeding. What the hell's the matter with people?

Yet another post dealing with the fact that people can't mind their own business and therefore claim they are a victim.
Your head can turn right? Your eyes can focus elsewhere right?
If you happen to catch a glimpse, you are so feeble minded that you let a breast get you bent out of shape?
God created breasts. You enjoy spitting in gods face for the system he developed to feed our young?

I think you're trolling and have no problem with it. If you're serious and really do then I feel sorry for you.

It's like being disgusted by watching someone eat at a restaurant.

Lighten up troll.

Anything to add?

Anything that contributes?

And no it isnt like watching someone eat at a restaurant.

so please, add on to your OP and explain why you feel the way you do.

contribute.

Fact is, some people are uncomfortable viewing breastfeeding. So if you are, there are 391 some "friends" FB pages you might not want to visit. Now I understand there is peer pressure from your employer and the government to view these pages, but I am urging you to resist TPTB and do all in your power to avoid these specific and particular internet pages and just "don't go there". Although it may be tough and stressful to avoid these "friends" on the internet, please use all means necessary to NOT look at those "friends" pages.

There is a lot of s#t on the net that is offensive to some and/or many. Don't like??? Don't look! The claimed irritation of the OP is self induced and purely voluntary.

I killed god. Slowly. The ubermench has no god.

And like I said,I feel that it is inappropriate in public and and a social setting. I think it should be a private thing. I dont feel that the person should force me to turn my head. They are showing a lack of courtesy. Its ill-mannered.
Its not like something I feel passionately about. Just my take on the story.

I think these people should be ashamed of themselves

Says the guy whose avatar is holding something phallic and is wearing a partial skirt.

Why should a mother be ashamed of feeding their child?

Thread has tickled me.
I'm more offended by the sight of women shoving bottles of powdered crap in their babies mouth, but hey it's their decision and not all women can breastfeed, so I just mind my own business.
Seem's like some of the women, if not all who post these pics are just proud to advocate it. Lot's of women go onto baby care forums with a genuine fear they can't BF and these women will naturally befriend those who can on the likes of FB - showing pics of how to handle baby while relaxed and juggling pumps at the same time can be helpful to some people.

It's a bit OTT of FB in many cases to just ban a woman for showing her well fed baby, just because a bit of nipple or areola is on show. But hey, I'm just biased - No one seemed to bat an eyelid whenever I got my norks out.
