Breasts being sexual or being pornographic are two different things entirely.

Breasts are sexual, they are supposed to attract men, how else would the human species survive if men weren't sexually attracted to women and vice verca? All animals, mammals or otherwise use sexual attraction. Humans are no different... live with it.

Which ever way you cut it my post stands. As for breast being sexual, they attract men now because we've put this pseudo-taboo label on them. If we lived in a culture where women had to only cover their ear lobes, we would have a sexual fascination for ears...

Hey why don't we cover the entire woman like Muslims do since they must have it right. Men are attracted to women ENTIRELY. So lets cover up face, feet, back, everything but perhaps not the ends of her toes... please stop with this nonsense. Breast may be sexual by yours or another standards but that doesn't mean you should arrest a woman for exposing them, or deprive them of being able to display. Not MY problem if YOU have a problem with nipples.

Also, why is it that we live in a society where it's perfectly acceptable to watch movies that show brutal torture/murder/violence & yet a pair of breast is the taboo one?? Really? You think it's more distasteful to see breastfeeding than a person being realistically tortured. Backwards world we live in imo...

To register for the site you must accept the terms and conditions if you don't read those terms and conditions and violate them or just don't care about the terms and conditions, they can ban you from accessing the site..BECAUSE it is THEIR site.

The site does allow people over the age of 13 to register for an account on the site.

Their terms and conditions specifically state
"You will not post content that: is hateful, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence."

Lessssee...if you can post images of your breasts on Facebook, I imagine that some of those just over 13 year old girls might do the same thinking, if your breasts are acceptable, than so are mine! I've been online since the net existed and YOUNG GIRLS will do try to post things like that.

Joining a site that prohibits what you want to post and then attempting to FORCE them accommodate YOU is WRONG. Can they come onto your property and then force you to accommodate Their wishes and throw out your rules?

Reminds me of about 10 years ago when Neopets was just taking off, and parents considered it "safe" from predators, they would allow their 12-14 years old kids access the message boards with no supervision, and while according theT&C of that site, posting "hot chat", looking for cute guys girls...etc was grounds for them to immediately freeze your account, these girls would get on the message boards..because it was the ONLY place they were allowed to "chat" start trying to drum up partner to....cyber em....right there publicly on the boards. They'd lose their accounts, create a new one and then log back on complaining that they lost their account....and dammit that had a right to pose what ever they wanted, They just couldn't' under stand that site site was not theirs....it was it belonged to someone else and,, and NO they didn't have the right to force the site change the way it operated to make them happy. ...

But these were kids...you....who might not be used to rules.....

But these are adults...parents...here. I would think they could understand RULES

Sorry but to prohibit pics of breastfeeding moms can limit a woman's need for info.

We should be encouraging modern women to do it instead of making them feel obscene and outcast. Pics of happy moms feeding their babies naturally might encourage more women to at least give it a try. To categorize something so vital for humanity as primitive/dirty to the extent that it must be kept from public view sends a loud message. Whether you accept that or not it's true.

Logically, what person in their right mind would think...I need help breastfeeding...I know...I look on FACEBOOK????

If they need really need help it would be much more intelligent and logical to search Google for breastfeeding forums!

And the group wanting to create a breastfeeding assistance sight, should create a forum forum for all y our pics and information. Tagged with something like Breastfeeding help!! Rather than expecting them to find a breastfeeding support forum on Facebook..tucked in their between Farmville, Frontierville, band pages etc..

Respectfully, It wasn't me saying women should be arrested for it and I don't support that view.

We're talking about Facebook here, where will we draw the line? Having a turd in the morning is 100% natural, shall I post pictures of that?

There is a time and place for bodily functions and Facebook isn't one of them.

Breasts as you will know are part of the reproduction system, which.. believe it or not... is a sexual function, therefore making them sexual

How are breasts part of the reproductive system, pray tell? They act responsively to reproduction, certainly, but are not integral...as far as I am aware.

Erm... did you study biology?

Babies are "reproduced" humans, babies are fed by breasts... part of the reproductive system

I just think its obnoxious. And it does make me think of animals. I think it should be private.

Ok, but what exactly is it that offends your sensibilities? Don't you know?
I'm not trying to be a pain here, just trying to wrap my head around the concept.
It's as unfathomable to me as people who think war is a good idea. (not saying you do, just an example)

What about the weirdo's that keep feeding their kids breast milk until they are like seven? Do you all think thats all beautiful and special?

Not that it has anything to do with the subject at hand, but I think it's kinda weird, myself. I know a lady who breast fed her kid until he was eight, and I'll tell you, that kid ain't right.
But, her kid, she can raise him however she wants as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, as I said, they are responsive to reproduction, but not necessary.

Oh don't...that freaks me out...I have to agree with you on that one...

They are 100% neccessary, if it wasn't for all our modern gizmos and baby chemicals, how else would they be fed? It's only because "man" as a species has become lazy and dependant that the choice is there, the choice is not normal in nature.

..and if breasts are no longer needed to feed babies, why do women have them still? .. that's right, to attract the male of the species.

Have you any idea how many women once died in childbirth? Midwifery is the modern gizmo that means that any of us have mothers at all.

Edit to add...live mothers that is..

Where will we draw the line? Well we obviously won't draw the line at images simulating acts of torture, murder; and/or extremely violent speech. Some of the costumes people make for Halloween look absolutely grotesque but everybody claps & congratulates the friend for their display of craftsmanship. And why are you comparing a turd to a pair of breast? Honestly if somebody post their morning s*&^ on Facebook, I expect their friends to not take to it so kindly. But that's still their right. The most offensive thing about feces is the smell anyway.

As for breast, nobody really has a problem with them except uptight drones with morality derived from religious undertones. And/or those who strictly adhere to the societal norm. Which denounces breast on Facebook, but embraces them on every other facet of the internet. Breast look fine to me. Sometimes attractive, sometimes not. Yet I really don't know why you're comparing them to a turd...

As Meada put it...I would rather stand on the battle field three times, that give birth. Once, it was the end of a woman's life to produce a new one...

Let me introduce you to ...OXYTOCIN!!

‘Cuddle hormone’ Research links oxytocin and socio-sexual behaviors

Among other things, oxytocin, which is produced naturally in the hypothalamus in the brain, stimulates uterine contractions, and allows the breasts to "let down" milk in pregnant and lactating women. The hormone is naturally released in response to a variety of environmental stimuli including nipple stimulation in lactating women, and uterine or cervical stimulation during sex, or as the result of a baby moving down the birth canal. In China, which enjoys a far lower birth-related morbidity rate than the United States, cool showers, which would stimulate the nipples and cause the brain to release its own oxytocin, are advised when labor needs a boost. In the United States, too, midwives have long known the benefits of applying ice to the nipples of women whose labor is stalled, Witt said.

So where do you get off comparing breast-feeding photos on Facebook with torture, rape, murder....

Breast feeding is a bodily function, so is taking a dump.

Are you even reading my replies? You asked me where we draw the line. And I replied that it's clearly not at [aforementioned acts]. It's a fact that our society accepts these things but some people cringe at the idea somewhere around the world, from the deepest darkest depths of human savagery...somebody is..showing their BREAST. To their FRIENDS.

You compared taking a picture of a turd to one of breastfeeding. Apart from your points being irrational, 1: I don't care. 2: breast are not feces. Do you think that every bodily function is equally disgusting and should not be shared? Do you think bodily functions are limited to taking a s&8* and breastfeeding? Lastly, have you ever been to Youtube? There are enough [non-banned] bodily function videos there to keep you amused for a length of time.

Breast feeding USED to be an ok thing until breasts were sexualised beyond belief.......thanks to porn...........thanks to feminism.Ironic isn't it that women now have less rights due to feminism!?
