If I referred to Indian people (or Argentinians, for that matter) in those terms I would be called prejudiced, bigoted and racist. And rightly so.

Have you never heard the saying "the biritsh empire civilized half of the world". You'd still be fighting over who owned your local swamp if it wasn't for Britain sharing its railway building skills and other fundemental resources.
