Every main stream news source is jacked into the huge political tug of war that is the presidential nomination between Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.................. Are you serious? This and this exactly is not only what is wrong with our country but much of the rest of the world, it's plain insanity.

Our country is in real and total decimation and ruin, it is spiraling out of control and out of reach to bring back and the only reason that we are not seeing riots on the scale of other countries in the same position is that our media is government controlled through corporations. It is also controlled through government programs that disguise themselves as helping the poor but what they really are..... Avenues to control the masses that they have so brilliantly and indirectly robbed of sovereignty and the ability to provide for themselves and there family and introduced them to the government tit.

Ron Paul is our last chance, he is the only one that can and would make things different. The fact that Mitt or Newt can win out in any state above Ron Paul is absolute proof in my eyes that this country is doomed. Our future is hyper inflation, war and revolution, we are all responsible and it starts with indifference. What a shame we will end up like many of the countries that in the past we have fought and died to "liberate".

The world is in Chaos and it starts and ends in USA. We have moved away from being a nation of free thinking, acting and caring participant in world progression and have become the most hated, the most repressive and the most hypocritical nation on Earth because of our passiveness that is a direct result of government programs designed exactly to program us for that purpose.

Every welfare respondent that is using there money in strip clubs, every mother who uses her child support to take a cruise while living at her mothers house, every person who collects unemployment while working a job for cash under the table and all those who allow these government hand outs to dictate the laws for the rest of us are to blame. The government should NOT have money to fund these programs, period.

Our government is making a blatant and bold push towards socialism and it will happen because capitalism in this country has failed due to lobbying and corporate greed. The majority of Americans will embrace this ideal with open arms very soon and there is very little time to change course.

What is our course? what is the resolve for those who see what I see? what is it that we can do? The time frame is closing fast and the options are becoming a distant dream.

First off, adjust. Things change, if you don't change with the times then you will be left in the dust with nobody to blame but yourself.

Secondly, nobody is forcing you to live here. If you are an intelligent hard working individual there should be very small hurdles in moving to a different country.

I don't disagree with what you're saying but ranting on Above Top Secret about it shows that the only initiative you're willing to make is to slide out the keyboard.

I'm sorry but you don't know me and you have no idea what I am doing outside of this website. This happens to be one of the places I inject my emotions, ideals and thoughts but by no means does it mean it is the only place nor that I do nothing to effect the changes I wish in the physical world.

Secondly.... Your right, nobody forced me to live here, I was born here, this is my home and my country as dictated by my parents, there parents before them and so forth back to the founding fathers who wrote our Constitution of the United States of America. That document governs my home and my land as I understand and wish it.

Should that document not be honored or upheld by a government that was meant to be for the people by the people, I don't need anyone to force me to live here, I need somebody to force me to stop wanting the people who have invaded this country and wiped there ass with that document to leave my land and country.

America and the ideal behind it is bigger than a government. It's about people, it's about free choice, expression and speech. It's not about having the worlds largest prison population because every action can and probably is against the law and not about being world police.

i agree with the Op, and i think the solution is a violent revolution, talking doesnt make a difference, reasoning with this is pointless, peaceful protests as proven do not matter. i would love for ron paul to try to sort this mess out, but as we are witnessing they ignore him. public opinion should mean everything yet it means nothing, they try to silence you, everyday we see more and more laws being signed in to make sure its impossible to even be heard.

I understand and I share the same frustration, it does seem like sometimes no matter how passionate I am or what I can do I am met with indifference, ridicule and a general feeling of not caring because people have Comcast a gas grill and internet porn.

In the end, to be honest, your probably right, there are too many government programs that we pay for that keep the masses at bay and keep them lazy and asleep and unable to understand the gravity of the situation.

The whole internet porn thing though is something that I fully endorse, regardless of domestic or world issues, I must state this to the fullest extent.......

Besides the given, free health care that will be $$ for the ones to get not get it or do not need it, an other war or 2 that no one wants, but in the name of DHS and TSA must have, Tax on the poor no tax on the rich can not have that!!! So where do you go from here. Once you realize the whole system is rigged (not in your favor), what's the plan? You might not be in the food line right now but you will be. How can you prepare yourself for that? I don't think everyone that is collecting welfare from the government (I use the term "welfare" sparingly, if you get any help at all, its welfare) is a piece of trash. It's there for a reason. I do think we are all on the way there tho.

If you control the food, you control the populace. Scary.

Social program abuse cases represent PENNIES compared to the billions of tax dollars spent on the military industrial complex, not to mention the taxes that the wealthy and corporations are NOT paying.

We need welfare reform. That is clear. But you're complaining about a scratch, when the jugular is cut and bleeding.

So people on welfare take cruises? Riiiiight. That argument is just as moronic as the one claiming they're wasting the money on drugs. In reality, only 2% of welfare recipients seem to take drugs, which is 7% (!!!!) below the national average

But hey, who cares about logic and ethics...right? I really hope you don't call yourself a patriot, because that would be incredibly hypocritical.

Look, they did an entire study on it, and the official figure clearly shows it's around 2%...waaaaaay below the national average. So the entire drug point is complete and utter nonsense

May I switch back to the discussion on violent overthrow for a moment? I assume you mean the death, torture or imprisonment of Congress, the White House, the Supreme Court and as many people working in D.C as you can find. Probably torch a few buildings as well. Of course, you have to beat the military and the police first, I understand they have nifty weapons. Say you happen to do it.

But this would have to be duplicated in the states, too, wouldn't it? OK, I get it, all governmental personnel and programs are stopped. Law enforcement is gone. (see above)

Now what? 300 million people start foraging off the land? And what do you do with the troops that the UN (with the assistance of China and Russia) sends in to relieve suffering and restore order? When order is restored, who gets the presidency? You, or the highest ranking official you haven't killed?

Please consider what happens after the first excitement wears down and think of where we'll be say 6 months after everything is destroyed. Remember you don't have a majority of the population with you.

I'd like to hear your ideas.

yea just as they did with the unemployment rate the real numbers are 40 to50% higher than reported they say it is 8% more to 16% rate.

Great post. When people wake up, it will be too late. The laws have been changed, the camps are in place and soon anyone who questions authority will just disappear. The 'coup degrace' was 9/11. We've allowed them to get away with it, and so went our country. I just can't see how we can wake the people up, short of a revolution.
