This is beyond outrageous. They must have the 1st amendment written on the toilet paper in Congresional bathrooms.

Josh Fox, director of the new acclaimed documentary "Gasland" was arrested this morning at the request of Republicans on the House Subcommittee on Energy and Environment. The documentary explores the consequences of hydraulic fracking used to capture natural gas.

"In a stunning break with First Amendment policy, House Republicans directed Capitol Hill police to detain a highly regarded documentary crew that was attempting to film a Wednesday hearing on a controversial natural gas procurement practice. "

Hey guys, ease up. He applied for a press pass the day before and didn't get one. He went into the meeting anyway where he violated the committee's rules on camera work. The committee voted on whether to change the rules but the vote did not go in Fox's favor. He wouldn't leave, so Bye!
