Certainly an interesting development. Between oil and now farming food the relations between Chavez and the Chinese are getting quite cozy.

Also I would suppose this has possible underreachings in total world food production, GMO foods etc.

I also wouldn't be surprised if we see a military alliance and if so possible basing of Chinese Forces in South America.....
