I have seen a few ancient depictions that some have suggested are flying craft but the opening image in the above video is shocking! It shows a temple wall painting unfortunately the video is not in English but you can clearly see what is depicted on the wall.
One of the Hindu gods is on a giant vimana and he is launching missiles symbolised as arrows at enemy UFOs that are attacking in large numbers.
The enemy UFOs have three domes on the bottom of the disc shaped craft and a cockpit dome above. This is shocking! Is this a depiction of humans battling with the “GODs”?

Which government are you talking about?
The American Government? what the heck do they have to do with Vimanas which are referred in ancient hindu mythologies and Hindu religious books?

The only book every person who dabbles in the stuff are quoting is "The Vymanika Shashtra" which is a early 20th century Channelized creation.
So, if any govermnet has anything to do with the Vimanas, it is the Indian Government.
The Indian Institute of Science, India's most predominant institute for scientific research, did actually research the Vymanika shashtra and had come to the opinion that the "vimanas" described in the book and their propulsion technology wont lift anything of the ground.

I could give a link for the IISC paper. Have to look on my computer or the net.

so, whos trying to keep what under "lock and Key"???

This was one of the first instances of a government admitting to be researching anti-gravity.

That's simply not true. There are plenty of declassified materials regarding everything from anti-gravity research, to ghosts, goblins and psychics.

Just because something is researched does not mean the desired effect is real or obtainable though.

Crystallinks is not a site that is well known for using scientific data or research to state the points. moreover, they never use science. if they had used sceintific methods and reasoning and research, they wouldhave never posted the stuff they post on their site.

The Indian Institute of science which had done researchon the "Vymanika Shastra' is an organisation set up for scientific research.

so, take your pick.

A study by aeronautical and mechanical engineering at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1974 concluded that the aircraft described in the text were "poor concoctions" and that the author showed a complete lack of understanding of aeronautics. The study also states "The Rukma Vimana was the only one which made sense. It had long vertical ducts with fans on the top to suck air from the top and send it down the ducts, generating a lift in the process."
Source- Vymanika shastra on wikipedia.org

and here is the research paper on the 'Vymanika Shastra' by the IISC

A Crtitical Study of the work "Vymanika shastra"
or if that link is not working (sometimes it messes up) try the below link
A critical Study of the work "vymanika shastra" - on scribd

have a good read.

I know the Vaimānika Shāstra, I have had a copy of the text for years and have read it a few times…a very tough read!

The text found in Tibet and translated by Dr. Ruth Reyna is not the same text ie it is not the phycic reading of a mystic. I heard about this text also many years ago and managed to contact a friend of Dr. Ruth Reyna in London. She is/was a real person and an expert in Sanskrit! He stated that he had not seen her for years and had lost contact with her.
