Exactly, how did they get it is where a crime may have occurred.

You can pay your vet $40 to artificially ejaculate your dog and inseminate some other dog, but if you do it just for fun it is a crime.

For this show, it wasn't for insemination, and it was arguably for entertainment only, so doesn't that make it a crime?

I would suspect if a cop saw you "getting" the semen from the donkey and then drinking it... you would be arrested.

Cops I know wouldn't arrest you until you were done...they enjoy a bit of sick humor.

Chances are though, they would probably not arrest you..sometimes its just not worth the paperwork.

Really? Offering up donkey semen to win money is the same as eating gross stuff like bugs for survival?
Nope.

Yummy link..some foods of the world

I am particularly disgusted by the bulls penis..and the wasp crackers. (also a bit envious about the bulls...)

I suspect you are not the only one envious of the bulls. : )
Still... offering up donkey semen (and all the rest) to drink (eat)
on a national TV show for for fun is low and unnecessary.
Certainly there are better ways to better the world and ourselves -
better examples to set for our kids, etc.
These things originate from midget minds.
They hold no value for the species -
They just send us further into oblivion.

Blah
Television corrupted itself almost the day it was invented by catering to entertainment and corporatism.
Still, there are things like discovery, pbs, cspan, etc...but the average person has no interest in such academic persuits.

Its a entertainment box, a storybox. a babysitter, etc.

Now, you say examples to set for our kids. Regarding the show fear factor..there is big warnings for kids not to watch and for parents to be parents. So, this is ultimately a non-issue...well, it is, because parents suck at being responsible parents, but why should I be punished from watching my favorite animal fluids drinking show because some crappy parent will let their kid watch anything he desires?

As far as value for the species. Well, hard to say really depending on how you see the species value. Perhaps overall our species is the entertainment of the cosmos, in which case, such things are indeed valueable
They hold no value to me though..hense why I don't watch that, scare tactics, or the other types of nonsense...actually, I don't watch much TV anyhow. more into movies, and maybe the odd series..

television is a corruption of free thought. Be it fear factor seman drinking, discovery's shark week, or cnn's daily omg there are rapists under your bed shock news.

I've had cable before, but chose to cancel it a while ago.

Basically because of the ridiculous shows on mainstream TV today.
Nevermind all the bias political propaganda, sports, and OMG BREAKING NEWS stories.
I don't feel it's necessary to be watching so much junk these days.
It's really not like I am gaining any form of intelligence from those shows.
More like mindlessly staring at a box, wasting alpha waves.
Imagine what another form of life would think of you if they watched you stare at TV for hours.
Probably think it's some kind of brainwashing, huh?
Some people wouldn't dream of turning theirs off.

I did.

I fully agree 100%.
But I can't understand paying for 100 channels when I only like 3. PBS, CSPAN and Discovery.
Cspan was getting to the point I was yelling at the TV in frustration, and pbs is losing their funding.

Besides, all the "game" shows I saw were based on the winner acquiring some amount of money.
Even then I can't stand to watch people get so excited about winning money.
Money that they will probably waste and be even further in debt later.

I get it

I like television. I don't watch much of it mind you..which is probably why I like it verses just accept it. I have my shows. Mostly things like game of thrones, spartacus, etc...powerful storys.

As far as brain damage entertainment. really the closest thing I have to that is a love for the daily show (sarcastic news) and colbert report for a daily tuning in.

I do like the face off series (sucks, I tried to swear off the syfy network since they cancelled any and all science fiction shows requiring an element of gray matter)..mostly because I do a lot of 3d work, and what they are doing, in my mind, is making the 3d creations basically come to life. intriguing from a semi-professional view.

Movies are my thing overall for lazy entertainment..especially zombie movies (something about the apocalyptic environment that triggers my fight or flight considerations)

But gaming is my thing...replace my looking at television for hours with immersed in some overarching video game and thats where my brain rot comes into play...however, I justify it by realizing it is active engagement requiring sharpening my reflexes, puzzle solving abilities, etc...gaming makes you smarter (studied and proven).

Meh, if you break down everything in life we do, you will find just about everything, to include chatting on a forum on the net, is ultimately producing nothing towards the betterment of ourselves (considering betterment is subjective anyhow)

I don't watch TV anymore. Seriously, for the last 4+ years my TV has been connected to my computer, and for 1 1/2 to 2 years prior I just had my old TV unplugged from cable(until I got a new TV that I could connect to my computer hehe).

So for the last almost 6 years I haven't watched TV hardly ever. The most TV I watched was the Pres debates till listening to Newt, Romney and Santorum made me feel like I had to throw up.

I don't think they think about anything they broadcast anymore, I'm sure 90% of it is politically correct filler and whatever else is left is designed to make money not provide any sort of entertainment, maybe some propaganda thrown in every now and then. I don't think they even care that there is no "artistic value" to hardly anything on TV or in movies anymore. The whole business atmosphere of Hollywood for one is designed to shut out "up and comers" with unique material and make a long line of brand named crap for filling some rich persons pockets, at the expense of every person that pays for their garbage.

So yes, probably anyone in this thread could come up with something better if you just flipped to some random channel and told them to make a better show. Probably for a fraction of the price too.
