There's reports all over the news today (even national) about the "meteor" that streaked across Oklahoma and Texas last night. I'm too lazy to dig up links, but it'll be all over Google.
The odd thing is that many witnesses reported it to be moving slowly and flooded news and police stations with UFO reports. That's when the FAA chimed in and said it was "probably" a meteor.
I didn't see it in person, so I'm not sure how slow it was in fact going. I just thought the "probably a meteor" sounded a bit odd.
Did anyone else see in or hear about it?

Lol! Your post is better than mine because you took the time to link things! I was just lazy. There was a video from a dash cam that they played on HLN news this morning that was pretty neat. I wish I could have seen it, but I live in a bad neighborhood so I avoid going outside at night. Lol.

Good compilation video. It was cool to see the radar of the event. I didn't realize there were TWO meteorites. I didn't even know radar would pick up meteorites! Wouldn't they be too high in the atmosphere?

They probably have secret radar bases on the moon by now! Unfortunately I don't know anything about it, but I have experienced the rare pleasure of having a meteorite pass right in front of our mountain windows. I could see every spark....but this bubble filmed here doesn't look anything like what I saw.
