I have read a great deal of material published by scientists on the question of survival of consciousness.
As many in this thread have noted, the evidence in support of it is growing.
Perhaps the best NDE account is that of Pam Reynolds, who underwent a very risky brain surgery that involved her being dead (deliberately). After the
experience, she was able to describe the surgeons' discussion and actions in great detail - during a period when all of their sophisticated equipment
indicated she was dead.
There are three lines of research that point to survival of consciousness: NDEs, children who remember past lives, and mediumship.
