This is long overdue in my opinion.

Gurkhas began serving Britain in 1815 in India, and with Indian independence in 1947 became part of the British Army. Nearly 3600 serve now, and in recent years they have taken part in British operations in Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Sierra Leone.

If i was in a 'situation', i would be very close to a Gurkha. They are uncanny, like Sherpa'.

It's about time the contribution of the Gurkhas was recognised in a fitting manner. Granting them citizenship is the least that should be done.
