You say ATS is free of this tracking code... got it. The only way to be tracked if if you are on the page that has the code Got it

Now to the question re Embedded YouTube vids that are here on ATS
Am I understanding this correctly?

That google tracking is not enabled until you have clicked on the ATS vid link to go to THEIR page , by clicking open new window which directly takes you to their site.
Then they can track from there?

Of course, you say the code has to be on page.

To avoid tracking , one MUST watch it THROUGH ATS and never open their window to their site? How's my comprehension thus far?

It's already been explained fairly well.

I think you have several misconceptions about cookies, "tracking code," and core operability of websites and embedded JavaScript that I alone cannot correct.
