An unexplained rumbling disturbed hundreds of Windsor, Ont., residents this weekend to the extent that some thought it was an earthquake, prompting calls for Ottawa to step in.

City Coun. Al Maghnieh said he was inundated with telephone calls, emails and Facebook messages this weekend after the so-called "hum" returned, louder than ever.

'A lot of people are frustrated and to a point ... demoralized.'— Coun. Al Maghnieh

"Between the sound and the vibration, it was just very, very bad," Maghnieh said. "A lot of people are frustrated and to a point ... demoralized."

Residents across Windsor and neighbouring LaSalle began reporting a noise they describe as similar to an idling train or semi-trailer in February 2011.

Maghnieh said a "low-frequency rumble" seemed to peak early Sunday morning, calling it "really harsh."

I agree with these people. How the hell does no one know what is going on and these people have to put up with this annoying noise?

I think it would wear on me and I would eventually go crazy if I couldn't move. But then again, who is going to buy a home with this damn noise? So then your house price becomes crap and you cant even buy another home.

This is terrible for these people and I feel bad for them, and I haven't even touched on what this noise could be.

There some weird things happening in the world, and weird noises.

Any thoughts?

marketing since 2009?

If I could reach through the streams of light and slap you, I would. If you don't know what it is, then don't say. The end. Just say "Very interesting, but we need more data."

Frustrated? Demoralized?

This is ridiculous.

Frustrated that the Local Govt. isn't doing something about a phenomenon that is occurring Globally is the height of stupidity IMO. What do they think can be done here because they are "Frustrated?" Do they think it's only happening to them?

Maybe they should stop watching the boob tube and realize that if they want something done, they should find out what's going on themselves instead of begging the Govt. to do something. This is how we are in the state we are in right now.

Stop running to the Govt. for answers and realize that what may be happening is something that the Govt. doesn't want us to know about. And a small town council is hardly going to be privy to what is happening Globally. This is much bigger than all of us I believe.

I know, wrong place for a rant but I am sick of people running to city hall for everything.

Peace

Already know whats causing this and its the earth itself doing it.

Have u ever heard a water heater make a vibration due to over pressure?

That's whats happening to the earth due to the current changes our sun has gone through.

Expect lots and lots of quakes and explosions this year

Answer: Our sun is cooking our planet more due to the different spectrum its at the moment.

More internal heating is whats happening......... which = More quakes and gas buildup.

Our morning news show - CanadaAM - said today that they will be talking about these strange noises on tomorrow morning's show. They also said that there is a mystery in Windsor.

I wonder what their conclusion is going to be.

What I've heard from the east of me, is almost between one of the videos that has the hum, and the other videos. Like a louder hum or a quieter strange noise. I think a weird atmospheric wind of some sort, but who knows.......

Bravo! Hahahahahahahaaaa One of the best come back lines EVER!! Brilliant!

Anyway back to the case in point. There is one explanation as to what is causing this noise which I have been screaming from the rooftops since it has really took hold at the start of this year.

I honestly believe we are hearing the sound of earth turning in space coming through fissures in the weakening magnetosphere and ionsphere and amplfying within our own atmosphere. With the solar flare bursts cascading through us all like a microwave oven and why reports of this noise is so sporadic and scattered is the reason I'm going with this theory.

Even my mother and father heard this noise on Friday passed and it has even spooked them and this is coming from Ireland. Something is happening, where it will end is anyone's guess.

Very interesting theory. Check out this video from the ESA. It is titled: Solar wind enters Earth's magnetosphere.

This animation follows the solar wind as it travels from the Sun to the Earth, passing through the Earth's magnetic field (represented by orange lines). Where the solar wind's magnetic polarity is opposite that of the Earth's magnetic field, some electrically charged particles of the solar wind enter the Earth's magnetosphere through a fissure formed during the interconnection of the Sun and Earth's magnetic field lines. These particles flow down the field line and impact on the ionosphere creating a spot in the ultraviolet proton aurora about the size of the American state of California.

On a second look, seem like this is how Aurora Borealis is formed.

I hear of things like this and wonder if someone, someplace, is messing around with tesla's equipment?
. When I also put this together with the mass animal deaths also in multiple locations around the world, I can't help but think of the possibility of scalar technology being used here.

Interesting you point that out. The UK had one of the most spectacular Aurora sights in 50 years on the 23rd of Jan of this year. Coincidence that the sounds were peaking leading up to that point before suddenly going quiet?!

To me it was like a crescendo leading up to that point. Now it is starting to build again... It'll be awesome to see what happens then... If I'm right of course

But I'll be keeping a very close eye on it over the next few weeks.

Very interesting! So the noise continues!

Well there have now been two experts weigh in, Scientists even saying this noise
has explanations, two different ones. However they both said that we humans
dont normally hear these sounds.

Mr. Khalilov, what is the nature of the unusual very low-pitched sounds reported by a great number of people in different parts of the planet since the summer of 2011? Many call them “The Sound of the Apocalypse”. Information about that comes from all over the world: US, UK, Costa Rica, Russia, Czech Republic, Australia, etc.

We have analyzed records of these sounds and found that most of their spectrum lies within the infrasound range, i.e. is not audible to humans. What people hear is only a small fraction of the actual power of these sounds. They are low-frequency acoustic emissions in the range between 20 and 100 Hz modulated by ultra-low infrasonic waves from 0.1 to 15 Hz. In geophysics, they are called acoustic-gravity waves; they are formed in the upper atmosphere, at the atmosphere-ionosphere boundary in particular. There can be quite a lot of causes why those waves are generated: earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, storms, tsunamis, etc. However, the scale of the observed humming sound in terms of both the area covered and its power far exceeds those that can be generated by the above-mentioned phenomena.

Watching CanadaAM this morning was a waste. All they did, was debunk the fake videos, but they didn't even try to explain the hum from Windsor, or the actual noise that we're hearing when we're living in the middle of no where.

Their "debunker" was supposedly a sound engineer. He even said the bird sounds shouldn't have been there, because it's winter.
At that point I knew he wasn't completely reliable, because we still have some birds around in the winter, and sometimes they make noise.

Yesterday, I heard the noise (quiet) from the west. I've heard it from the west before, but never paid any attention to it, because it just sounds like a busy highway. I thought it could be tractors working in the distance. The problem with that theory in the winter is, we're covered in 2 feet of snow, and I don't live near a busy enough road to account for noise. The closest busy highway is about 2 hours away from me, or approximately 200 KM. There is a small town 50 KM north of me, but no industry that makes any noise.

Oh well, I guess I'll stick with my theory of wind from high altitudes. Or sounds in the distance travelling along with the wind. Sound corridors? Maybe wind from up high, coming down, carrying sounds and also whistling through the tree tops.....
And birds, coyotes, odd little animals, all mixing in.

There is only 1 reason why the governments aren't doing anything about this or "trying" to find out what it is and that's because...

they already know what it is and we aint going to be told about it yet...

Its the only logical explanation. Otherwise they'd be finding out.
