Ixquick Web search

and

DuckDuckgo

Both are good to keep off the radar but not so for services and stuff.
As for Email try Trashmail it a disposable email address it
can be linked to your address so when it recives mail it passes it to you,

Just found this it a list of search engines best you give them a try to see which one
you like best www.thesearchenginelist.com

They weren't shut down, you can go there now. Google may be blocking them as a search option though.

I too am carefully reviewing Google's new policy but have yet to determine if I can get the level of control I desire. I did come across this Google site though: Google Data Liberation that apparently will help you import/export data in and out of various Google products. Also a link to their new privacy policy here in case anyone cares to read it.

now they use every stupid youtube search word and add it to your information, same with iGoogle content or google maps (every shop you searched, friends adresses (new webs - persons who are not online/social-networking) etc.) or google images (dangerous because of the new image-via-image analysing) and so on....

They tell you flat out, admittedly, that they are going to track and trace every single word you type in your emails, blogs, and on associated websites. They tell you flat out they will be recording what sites you visit, etc.

I thought it was bad (and annoying) when Google started putting up ads for stuff I looked into (and decided I wasn't interested in and thus did not buy) after visiting such pages, but now their gonna be placing ads based on what I say in an email or what they pull from my blog, or what videos I watch on Youtube, etc.

Not only is that like someone having access to every conscious thought you type online, but imagine what I could tell about you just by looking over your shoulder and observing the ads that pop up? I, a perfect stranger, could tell soooooo much about you just by observing your google search (or my girlfriend's).

They also state that they will be storing all of this information (which could be stolen), and that they WILL provide it to anyone they are "legally obligated" to provide it too.

So your spouse, let's say, could get a court order to obtain this information to PROVE you were screwing around or doing this or that, or the police, or maybe even your employer could get info if they paid enough to someone on the inside?

Do you have some weird sexual interests, are you of a particular religion, a smoker, a drug user, ever thought of suicide, etc.? All of that will be accessible to someone - Google admits. Did you once google "how to make a nuclear bomb" or "how to grow weed"? Well, it don't matter if it was for research purposes, that will be up to whoever has the data to interpret, not for you to explain.

Yeah, they might have done all of it before, but they openly admit they will be farming all that data now and even ask you if you understand and agree with those terms.

Nobody to blame but ourselves. When the first cookies started appearing, we should have forced the government to ban them. But we complained among ourselves and it never went any further than that. Nobody was happier than the government to see cookies being rather quietly accepted. They knew once that electronic foot was in our door, they could gradually make their moves.

'Same thing with the illegal downloading of material. It was allowed so they could get on to Phase 2 when the time came. And all of your that did that thought you were so damned clever.

Guess what, the exact same thing is being pulled on us with Anomalous. A few displays of what hackers can do and Presto!, goodbye unregulated internet.
