A Gigantic Pyramid on Ocean Sea Floor in Bermuda Triangle?

well if the photo shows depth it makes a lot more sense it would just be a triangular trench and the parts that look like white side are raised areas

edit:also could someone provide source as to the depth of the water there 5000years ago? also i was under the impression the last ice age ended about 12000 years ago.....much longer

Nice find Arken, I would surely like to see this explored further, perhaps on an ocean mapping/sonar vessel.

Supposedly, Atlants was in a then valley(Bermuda Triangle) and the planet was in an embrotic state surrounded with water and as the sun shined on the water it refracted around the planet and we had a "mean temperature"however the advanced Atlantians using Laser for travel punched holes in the stratum and allowed the water to come in, they (the Atlantians) had about 100 years to prepare for the flooding of their valley and supposedly went underground, hence the unusual magnetic fields in the area, and also the high Ufo sightings as they come and go using Vacuum ports for arrival and departures, some retreated to the mountains in south america,( Mayans ) and also the American indian are decendants, and your time zone of 10,000 years is also correct.

Good thread but there's a large ridge in the ocean floor in that particular area, that may give off a pyramid shape.

Oh okay thank you for clarifying that for me, and for the record, I also don't truely believe Atlantis is under the Atlantic ocean either, not until I see some solid evidence of its existance...But i do think that if the city WAS infact a real location, it would make sense that it would be in the Atlantic Ocean....

That sort of DOES make sense to me...But like any other anomaly, or unexplained phenomenon, You need proof to back up its existance, other whise, it remains purely in the realm of speculation and Theory...

10,000 years ago, end of last ice age, sea levels were near 400ft lower than they are now.

So... to completely understand - or, at least uncover - all 'urban' life that may have existed within the last 10,000 years on this planet, we would effectively have to have searched ALL submerged landmasses around the globe in less than 400' of ocean...? (and, which clearly has not been done)

So, what does that come out to, anyway?!

Makes sense that we know more about outer space than we do about our own planet.

It is actually a lot more complex than that unfortunately. For example, we know the ice sheets started melting at some point around 10'000 BC but the Black Sea region (overflow through Bosphorous from the Med) did not happen until around 5500 BC. So in this region, we may need to look even lower. What this indicates is that sea levels changed at varying degrees depending on location. This, in effect, means that any future undersea archeology would have to include some seriously well informed oceaographers who understood sea currents in the Neolithic period. I am not sure but i would suggest this is a very narrow and specialist group of individuals!

Also, you have to take into account the force of the flow of water over any ruins and by this i do not just mean after millenia of been under the sea. Consider the force behind several feet of flooding water from a swollen river or stream. Now scale that up to factor in the force of water from several feet of surging sea water, being forced over any ruins. Then add in millenia of being under the sea and associated sediment layers!

You never want to say never but i honestly do not see any huge leaps in our understanding of the past through maritime archeology anytime soon, even though this is the area that would give us the biggest answers as to our origins.

very cool post dude!!!when I look at it, it looks like the roof of a huge house seen from the side with the eaves facing us and the roof going away from us towards the top of the picture ,I don't know what the depth of water is there but if it is deep then that is one massive house or structure

That was a very rough estimate given Google maps measurements. Where are you getting water depth for that area?

This is actually a very squarish undersea volcano. The low resolution made them look like pyramids but they would have been huge dwarfing even the so called Great pyramid of cholula at the base.

But if you look at the size of Cholula it is 450m x 60m Also a very FLAT pyramid...

But I can't seem to find the images, zooming in on the google map showed a trail of holes they went over that looks very interesting.
