I just wanted everyone to check out the Ron Paul song I wrote. There is a pretty good video to it too. I give ATS a lot of credit in this song because for about the last year this has been my main source of political news. Thanks ATS here is my gift back. Let me know what you think.

Good idea and lyrics. I have to be honest though and I know I'll get flamed for this but I'm just being honest. When I hear white rappers they always sound like they are trying to sound black and that kinda gives me a weird feeling and makes me feel like it's all a bit not genuine. A few people manage to not sound like they are trying to put on a fake kinda accent, but it seems like everyone is always trying to sound like something they arn't.

Sorry it's just how I feel. We have it hear in the UK where white kids copy the black kids accents even though their area hasn't got anyone in who sounds that way, they just copy the well known rappers who happen to be black and even copy how he talks as well as raps.

Kool idea, just that this is one thing about rap that really frustrates me because it feels like people are always putting on a false accent copying their favourite artists rather than trying to be themselves and rapping in their own voice/

I'm a Ron Paul fan...I think you just turned me into a rap fan too...

I appreciate your honesty. It's not so much of an imitation of a black person's accent, its more less like an attitude, or a persona. Its what I refer to as "swagga on da track".

The important part about the video, is that it brings awareness and discussion. I appreciate your input.

I'm a 61 year old Woman, never liked rap before. This just got to me.

Thank you very much. I think that's a great effect of Ron Paul. It unites people from all walks of life.

Somehow I get the feeling that rap and abovetopsecret doesn't really mixs together, i get this awkward feeling lol.

Hope you don't mind but I posted your song in the 2012 Elections forum. Here it is for you to read. Last time I looked you had 239 views on youtube. I sent it to a lot of the MSM press and my facebook.
