Hidden Cell Towers. The GWEN System, and Frequencies On Humans.

I guess it starts when your a kid and you found a way to shock people by running on the carpet. Or by rubbing a balloon on your head, you can make your hair stand up. At some point even as kids we are aware they we have energy.

I haven't been in school for a while, so I cant really tell you if they are teaching this to kids today, but the curiosity is amazing when you first realize.

Now for many of us here on ATS, we know about ELF waves, cell phone dangers, and even frequency weapons that the military has, to control crowds, and if you dig a bit deeper, there are weapons such as voice to skull, and even weapons for assassination which can make you have a heart attack from a distance.

Ok, I just read the above, and realized that maybe this isn't so well know so I will add a little about each that I have mentioned.

Voice to Skull.

The Army’s very strange webpage on "Voice-to-Skull" weapons has been removed. It was strange it was there, and it’s even stranger it’s gone. If you Google it, you’ll see the entry for "Voice-to-Skull device," but, if you click on the website, the link is dead. The entry, still available on the Federation of American Scientists‘ website reads: "Nonlethal weapon which includes (1) a neuro-electromagnetic device which uses microwave transmission of sound into the skull of persons or animals by way of pulse-modulated microwave radiation; and (2) a silent sound device which can transmit sound into the skull of person or animals."

Ok, now we are kind of caught up. There is a fear of what happens if you are living close by a cell tower, and its effects on your body. There are an massive amount of these towers all over the world. Many dont know that they are there because they have been camouflaged. To look like trees, or even in flag poles, or church steeples.

The Ground-Wave Emergency Network (GWEN) is a communications system that the military is in the process of constructing as we speak. It operates in the very-low-frequency (VLF) range, with transmissions between 150 and 175 kHz. This range was selected because its signals travel by means of waves that have a tendency to hug the ground rather than by radiating into the atmosphere. Though there is no taking away the fact that these towers exist, whether you believe its so that our technology is advancing and we are in need of this. Or whether you believe that this is another way for TPTB to control our minds through frequency waves. Or even if you believe that HAARP has a part to play, hey we can even get into BlueBeam, knowing your surroundings and the things that can affect you down the road is always good to know.

Just saw a news report on BBC, that they can use an ultra sonic pulse to make you infertile.

In southern CA I see a lot of towers like that. We had a few in Michigan but many more here.

I just assumed it was the environmentalist wackos at work...

As I do work for a Wireless Telecom company, I can offer some input on the subject.

I am not an RF engineer, so I cannot comment about the health risks of living in close proximity to a cell site. However, from going to town hall meetings/zoning hearings etc. as a Site Acquisition Specialist, I can say that there are precautions to limit the amount of exposure. The only time you really risk any kind of dangerous exposure, is if you are standing in front of the antennae while they are powered up. If you are standing even 10 feet away, you are safe. A lot of crewmen have to wear RF detectors when working on an active site.

As far as the stealthing, this is more due to the town's requirements. A lot of citizens don't want to look at a lot of towers in their neighborhood. While that's fine and well, we need the towers to accommodate the need for the signals. Sometimes, the zoning board will not approve a design UNLESS it is either: Stealthable (monopines, church steeples/crosses/etc, rocks on gold courses, and sometimes faux chimneys.) or completely hidden. This isn't so much to HIDE it from the public in a sinister way, as it is meant to hide from visual eyesores



Speaking of zoning boards, you also have to deal with Historic lands. Sometimes, your ideal location for a site, is in the middle of a historic district, or a zoning district that doesn't allow telecommunications equipment. For that reason, some carriers are forced to stealth install. This isn't the preferred method, as stealthing can be damn expensive. Even turning a monopole to a monopine can cost thousands and thousands of dollars.

Cell towers are dressed up for aesthetic purposes. You don't really think they look like real trees do you?

The article about GWEN is incorrect.
First, 150 - 175 kHz is not VLF, it is low frequency.

Second, the GWEN system was decommissioned in 1999. Some of the stations and equipment have been repurposed as part of the DGPS navigation system. The transmitters operate at 300 khz. The transmitters are of quite low power.

I understand this, but as you can see these hidden towers are not in heavily populated areas, these are in the middle of no where, but they still seem to be hidden, or disguised, and as you just mentioned costs thousands of dollars to do.

Why would a company or state committee need to pay extra camouflage for something not really seen anyway?

Op, these are not meant to be "hidden" "secret" towers. They lease the property and based on property owners concerns they make them look a bit less obvious. This is proof that there are people out there searching, striving to find a conspiracy in everything.


I don't know that I want to live on this planet anymore.

The sheer number of cell towers I've seen thrown up in recent years far exceeds the number of new customers or the need for additional coverage areas. I've seen some that are less than a mile apart.
I fear no good will come of this either way: through excess EM radiation or through more nefarious uses that we can only dream of.
Given the sterling record of the Federal government I tend to think in terms of worst case scenarios when it comes to issues like this. They have proven themselves devious and untrustworthy time and again.
They're a blight on the landscape at a minimum and the means of our enslavement or capitulation on the other end of scale.
I would be interested to know more of the possibilities from someone more adept at science then myself.

Just because a place is 'off the beaten path' a bit, does not relieve itself from local zoning ordinances. It is the zoning boards ultimate decision. Of course, the landowner has input, and the landowner can say "I don't care what it looks like, I just want the extra income", and that's fine from a LL perspective, but not from a town/state perspective.


I'm not saying that there COULDN'T be a conspiracy here, I'm just saying that the reasoning for stealth installations are flawed in these explanations. As someone who works in the field, I know some of this information to be glaringly wrong. Again, my skillset does not allow me to comment much on the RF side of things, but rather the zoning side/LL side of the stealthing issue.

A town I did work with recently, Cumberland, Rhode Island, has this in their ordinances. This is probably one of the more relaxed ones, but it does mention stealthing when possible.

"(e) Development Standards

(1) Whether erected on an existing building or erected as a separate structure, the tower shall be integrated through location and design to be compatible with the existing characteristics of the site to the extent practical.

(4) Removal of on-site vegetation and changes to the existing topography shall be minimized

(6) Appropriate screening, including the use of trees and other vegetation, shall be installed at all tower sites to screen views from adjacent properties and streets

(7) Towers shall be neutral in appearance, and related structures shall blend in with the surrounding environment through the use of appropriate design, materials and colors."

They transmit at around 300 kHz. That is not VLF.
The transmitters have less power than your local FM radio station.

This thread wasn't solely about the hidden towers, but also about the fear and anxiety that many share about what they are there for, and their affects on our bodies, and mostly our minds.

Seriously the amount of devices that are out there already and those that are being modified is something that we should all be aware of. Not because the boogey-man is coming, but knowing where technology lies today, and who and what corporations are trying to patent them should be of some concern for us.

Most of these patents came out 20 or more years ago. Even if some were not passed, its mind blowing to know what capabilities are out there. People that try to patent these things have creators, scientists, medical corporations etc,. helping to fund these.

BTW, I would like to add that many of these are out there already, and can be our GPS systems, newer cellular technology etc,. Some info on something called silent spread sound spectrum. There are many links to info about microchips, EMF weaponization, microchip implants, and GWEN towers. NRE has covered the GWEN towers very well, so no need for me to chime in.
I just posted this on another thread, but there was a suggestion before the holidays that there be a forum for mind control, and I, for one, second the idea. These threads pop up over and over, much of the same information being covered, Not, mind you, that I think this is a bad idea, as I believe it incredibly important that this information gets out there. I do not believe there is much to debunk here, either, as it has been admitted by the military, itself, that weaponized EMF was used in Iraq early on.

With further research you may find that the power output is less than you may understand.
Your second link is talking about much higher frequencies than the DGPS system uses. If you had bothered to see the link I posted you would have found that the field density of the DGPS signal is many orders of magnitude less (thousands of times less) than 0.8 milliwatts, unless perhaps you are standing next to the tower. As I said, your local FM radio station puts out more power.

I, too, work as a site acq. specialist for a major telecommunications company - and while reading that I had to smile - it's not a covert conspiracy that they are "hidden"...it's due to keep a tower in compliance with aesthetics either according the the local municipality, county and/or SHPO.

yes, you are correct on the further research, thanks. However, there are methods of propogation, resonance, amplification and masers, to consider, as well. I wouldn't think to start an argument with you, as you far exceed my feeble intellect, as has already been qualified for me today by another. And I am not being sarcastic. I intended a complement.
As to my first source, and the quote you provided you found silly, I would only say that the applications of hard science perhaps have more metaphysical implications than you might consider. And because you find one element of something rather silly, to dismiss the whole can be short sighted. This is a matter of logic only.
