CNET

(Personally I think We Are In a Police State!)

Take a good read fellow Americans,Canadians,Europeans this is serious and i think its time we stand against them.

MegaUpload's assets have been seized by the government, and its bank accounts have been frozen, Hence, MegaUpload can no longer pay companies like Carpathia and Cogent for their services, the AP reports.

In what some have called one of the largest criminal copyright cases ever brought by the U.S., MegaUpload was yanked offline January 19 and its founder and several of his associates were arrested and charged with crimes related to online piracy.

Really? i can does how a police state country does that such a thing

Many millions of people worldwide have allegedly used MegaUpload's cyberlocker service to store and access unauthorized copies of TV shows, feature films, songs, porn, and software. But some customers used MegaUpload for above-board practices like sharing large (and legal) files and backing up legitimate files.

So CNET what so what if they did? some of those are never are sold in America nor Europe just like with Anime or Manga few of them are ever released in north America and In Europe in some EU countries Mangas are none exist and it seems the big media industry world is afraid of competition not just afraid of that but also the fact.

That the big media industry doesn't care about there artists or there works they only keep worrying about there greed and not the works.

So ATS what you think?

I'm against piracy
Sadly i am not.

I am all for Copyright however, but piracy doesn't hurt artists chances if piracy was a such huge threat all these much artists are sure doing well to me! oh and i hear one of them is getting a lot of millions.

The most reason why some mangas, or some comics fail is not due to piracy but its because of the artist choices on he or she is doing the story and how long it takes, if you take to many breaks you will just upset more of your fans in Japan, the more you upset, the more you lose.

Thats why Dragon Ball,Naruto were a hit Japan and North America, because the artist knew what to do, unlike some artists who even take nearly every each month for one there of there issues to come out

That's a long wait if you ask me.

Same goes for some great movies or the most annoying ones.
and its why people will stop buying the physical copies of it.

People dont want to waste there money.

I remember my time using the IRC back in the 90s late 90s where some of the IRC channels were flooded with the Japanese manga, calling it the greatest next thing, big thing for westerns to read and enjoy since the comics era.

It was then and Net that made Japanese manga folk even a bigger hit in the western markets, oh yes do not get me wrong there were some minor mangas in North America, but right now i cant recall them.
