Well hey... let's see the other edge of this sword...

Since they are making us edit our holy text.. I'd like to see this line (among others) deleted from the Koran as it is offensive to Jews and Christians..

Sura 5:51: “O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he among you that turns to them for friendship is of them.” This friendship makes any Muslim a enemy of their own and deserving of the same fate as the unbeliever. This is because God does not guide an unjust people.

Sorry Muslims.. can't have your cake and eat it too..

Did you even read the article linked to in the OP?
The muslims are not asking anyone to edit the text.

It is the christian publishers are re-wording it to make the bible more appealing to the arab speaking population. Its only a cunning attempt to draw converts.

Sure Muslims are not forcing anyone. Muslims are using people -non Christian who hate the trinity in the bible to edit it for them just so Muslims can believe in god without Jesus as the son of god, as a trinity of god, so therefor god is god and Jesus was never a son with a father to the kingdom of god as a rightful heir to gods throne.

Also if you yourself read the article this causes a controversy of true Christian beliefs! So someone who never read in the new testament before will read this Muslim version of the new testament and think Jesus was never a son of god.

Concerned Christian missionaries, Bible translators, pastors, and national church leaders have come together with a public petition to stop these organizations.

Muslims have NOTHING to do with this entire thing. Period.
The people who are re-wording the bibles are doing so out of their own.

Fact remains that muslims never asked for this edit.

Seriously, though.. There's nothing in the article saying that this was at all an idea by any Muslims. In fact, Like myself, Sc0rpi0n, and the article itself has told you; it was three CHRISTIAN organizations acting of their own free will to print the bible in another kind of translation. Stop making this about your hate for Muslims. It's clearly you who are not able to read and understand the article.

Like I mentioned earlier, to have a one world religion new order they have to remove Jesus as Son of God and Gate of Heaven...Who does the papacy refer to as the Gate of Heaven now? Mary, who the Muslims will accept. Order out of chaos, just look at the world right now, you ask why? Cause they don't have much time.
