Is Iron Sky attempting to capitalize on 2012?, page

Six years ago the makers of Star Wreck obtained financing to produce a new movie. They decided to create a great version of a B movie. It has all of the things in it that a B-movie needs:
1. Nazis
2. mad scientists
3. space ships
4. destruction

Why question is really whether this movie about anti-gravity drives and an invasion from outer space is being released this year to catch some of the 2012 beliefs about disclosure, free energy, anti-gravity drives, and so forth.

In a conspiratorial sense is this an Illuminati driven event to hide the facts in plain sight?

This will obviously be the greatest Nazisplotation film in history. Unless Rob Zombie does Werewolf Women of the SS with Nick Cage as Fu Man Chu

I think it will be a really fun movie to watch. I bet the special effects will be top notch and a lot more fun to watch than that cheesy film 2012. That movie was a stinker.

What gives you that impression?
2012, it's a year, a year-long year in which many movies are going to be presented.
I've been following the production of IS (I love B class films), and it has NOTHING to do with 2012 prophecies, mayans and whatnot...
Btw, the film IS SET IN 2018!!!
It's about nazis, with spaceships, and cool nazi space-suits.
It's going to be awesome!

I know that part of the film is set in 2018. part is set in 1945.

The issue is whether they are attempting to cash in on the 2012 craze and the claims of disclosure and all of that falderal.

Here we have a movie for fun. It isn't preaching that we should join or fight Nazis. (Of course, I made that up since I have little idea what the movie is about.) It might or might not be cashing in on the hoax of 2012. I say if a nut like Drunvalo can make money off of 2012 then real artists should as well.

Anyone making a movie whether it's a box office hit or pure garbage is attempting to cash in...

In an interview back in the mid-2010 the director of the movie, Timo Vuorensola, hinted that there are actually no movies in existence about the specific topic of Nazis in space. In a manner, this movie will be the first of its kind

I'm expecting great commentary in this movie as there was in Star Wreck.

if not, heil Ironsky for bringing at least the soundtrack. Who needs disclosure anyway? I think this movie is going to be epic. Can't wait to get my claws an a BR copy and get it on my wall and the music through.
