Israeli drone crashes during test flight

PressTV is reporting that an Israeli drone (Heron TP) crashed during a test flight Sunday near a central Israel base.

The drone was unmanned and no injuries were reported.

The HeronTP is capable of carrying a payload of 1,000 kilograms.

France last year agreed to start buying the HeronTP.

The most advanced Israeli drone crashed during its test flight on Sunday morning in an area near the Tel Nof military base in central Israel.

No injuries were reported in the incident and an investigation has been launched into the cause of the crash.

The Heron TP is the largest Israeli UAV with a 26-meter-long wingspan. It can fly for up to 45 hours and carry a payload of 1,000 kilograms.

The Israeli drone is also capable of launching missiles.

Israel has increased the use of its drones over the past few years in areas including the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon.

There is no mention of sabotage

I wonder how heavy of a payload it was carrying during this test...

This is press tv reporting this .? Iran seems to be able to know things kinda fast .....Boy I wish I knew just what was what ...peace ps I looked on presstv and couldn't find this article, sorry I found it ..dont know how I missed it the first time I looked

They more than likely got the story from the same place everybody else did.

PressTV might be M$M with a local twist.

I think AP was the original.

Notice how many articles stress the fact that the drone "can reach Iran"
