Everything mutates and evolves. No one needs and "excuse." imho, you are asking the wrong question.

Also imho, the idea of vaccinating is fundamentally flawed.

Bacteria shouldn't be afraid of the antibiotics; antibiotics should be afraid of the bacteria!

Vacciens are used to stimulate the immune system to identify and act against certin bacterial or viral
componets, in this case it's refering to cell wall components, yes the bacteria can evolve to change it's
cell wall but that isn't the main problem vacciens are for the mojority of cases far less dangerious than
the disease they are created to stop, people have forgotten about polio, whoping cough, and a number of
other virulent disease and don't belive that they still exist in human population. this myopic view shows
a lack of undestanding that the causative agents are still there, our bodies still hosting them they just
have less of an effect, becuase of the vaccine so those irresponcible parents who don't vacinate their
children are putting the live of others in danger.
bacterial resitance to anti-biotics is another issue all togeather look up XDR-tuberculosis at the WHO
web site, or drug resistant Staphlococcus aurus for nighmare stuff. over prescribing of anti-biotics
and also people not following the full course of anti-biotics have created these monsters. the majority
of TB is reisistant to at least one anti-biotic in the former USSR their is a high proportion of MDR-TB.
all the bombs we have could be insignificant to the power of extremely virulent pathogens.

We still have immunity to polio and smallpox viruses so to say they all evolve or mutate is questionable or we would have recent outbreaks of these diseases, wouldn't we?
