Soros, Obama, Bank of America, Government Sachs, Foodstamp JP Morgran are all trade marks of socialism for the rich. And soon to come, Healthcare Citibank or some other greedy Wall Street institution.

We need to separate the too big to fail, the socialistic bailouts, the crony contracts, the money passing, and get the government serving the people again and not the few elite.

There are some promoting a socialist agenda, but the majority I talk to want the corruption out of our government.
I will forge ahead with the protests and speak my voice with these very intentions, as are many others.

There is something I think you need to understand.

When we used to have valid elections, you had all stripes of voters going to the voting booths, and naturally all those involved in the process, did not agree with each other.

The same situation exists here where I do not agree with the agenda of everyone either, but I am not going to throw the baby out with the bath water and will stand side by side in protest, on the internet etc anyway I can to get the corruption as outlined above out of our government.

If George Soros or some powerful moneyed elite was indeed funding the movement, then upon inspection, they are not doing a very good job, since, as many put it, are filthy tent raggedy tent sleeping refuse heaps of humans.

My contention is that if anything, TPTB are trying to subvert it in the American's eyes, the same way they have pulled other campaigns in foreign countries.

I will be the first to say I did not like the Occupy movement. From the get-go it looked like a community playhouse theater production of a bad rendition of "That's My Revolution". Revolutions people, are not PLANNED EVENTS, they are powderkeg events that are always beset by violence and anarchy. They are not just people standing by sitting on their iphones giving twitter updates from the front lines. If anything, real revolution would mean no one would be allowed such a device without extensive rooting to keep from being tracked.

But then again, this generation are sheeple idiots that can't function without a tracking device, my bad, their toy device of entertainment choice.

TPTB have taken this faux movement and swung it to their own devices. Who the hell gets chased by police, breaks into a building, and then stops for a photo op to burn a flag? Seriously?

As far as people fighting and dying over that flag, they died for a LIE. Black people definitely did not BENEFIT for standing up for it in either world war, and a lot were killed by lynching in their uniforms coming back from the war after seeing how they were treated as equals in Europe versus being relegated to being 2nd and 3rd class citizens here. Most of those protesting in Oakland are local people.
If many of them are down on the luck, and do not have much money, then traveling to DC is quite an expense.

City Hall is as close as you can get to protesting DC locally, which is exactly where the protests were being held.

Oakland is not the land of milk and honey. The 60s and 70s were a hotbed of political racial tension and violence, riots and such. Need I remind people that Huey Newton and the Black Panthers, the SLA (who kidnapped Patty Hearst and "converted her"), and King Felix (who did the first large scale drug operation in the US) are all products of this tension. Some great music also came out of there, with 2Pac, Sly and the family Stone, Graham Central Station, Pointer Sisters, and Tower Of Power, but they had already left and were famous by the time TSHTF.

I am not surprised that the violence has continued, especially amongst the inequality of class and race there.
