Welcome.
There are several others from the UK on here, and some of them have helped me gain a bit of a perspective as to the difference between culture in USA and culture in UK.
(thanks to those for helping me with my ignorance of their culture)

I realize the opinion of one does not equate to the opinion of an entire country. Glad to have another perspective.
