Seems to me you should learn how to make a thread before you do anything else. Guidelines for posting a thread. Check 'em out !

You can't delete a thread. You can unsubscribe to it so you don't see if anyone posts to it but as for deleting it all together, you can't.

You can't delete your thread.
I suppose you'll just have to get spanked by the alien wench for spilling the beans.

Could be worse, I guess...

The beauty and the horror of ATS is that threads cannot be deleted. Also there is a time limit for deleting or editing a post. This means that all of our brilliant ideas are here to stay and all the strange drivel we cannot believe we said, is here to stay also. Think of it as a way to keep you humble and pray members do not bother to look at all your posts and see how crazy, idiotic, simple, etc you really are.
When I say you I am meaning me for sure, most of all.

Yup. Just like Facebook, ATS keeps your info forever.

Not by the OP true but trust me threads CAN be(and have been) deleted

It's all about truth, right?

Yes the truth, sorry overlooked that part. Hasn't happened to me, I think, wish it would considering some of my posts.
Have seen it happen to others. Have seen the burnt and shattered remains.
Put a little fear in the newbies.
