Has anyone else heard about the "devil's footprints" phenomenon

I heard about this a few years ago and completely forgot about it....pretty wierd

I've read about this in the past and I found it very interesting. Ya, know they alwasy explain these things as "freak atmorspheric conditions"Very good find.

In the early 80's we had similar prints, that went over a small wall, across a garden, round a tree, UP a fence, and over the top of the garage roof.
Definetly not a Kangaroo, not in the part of the UK i lived in anyway!!

Just a question. What would connect the druids this conversation in reguards to the marks? Do you know much about the draoi and the gaelic culture?

bah. all lies! when I was there all the beer was nice and frosty

I was going to try to make a case that all the really weird paranormal stuff in England happens in about the same area, but looking at this map , the only correlation I see is not a whole lot of parnormal activity in the London area.

No I don't know much about the cultures except that they did a very
nice job on stonehedge. The point being made is that the UK SEEMS to
have more than its share of paranormal phenomenon. Is this just a
perception or is it supported by statistical fact? It just seems that
there are areas of the world where there are more paranormal occurences
than other places. WHY?????????? When was the last time you heard about
a haunted German castle or a haunted French castle? Yet it seems that
a haunted English castle is standard fare. Is it that the British are
more willing to accept, discuss, or acknowledge paranormal phenomenon than
the Germans or the French? Could it be something to do with the location
of the UK or its past history or is just our perceptions (we hear more
about UK happenings than German or French happenings). If a person were
to graph paranormal phenomenon over the world would the results show that
there are areas with more activity that others? Then could that be
correlated with population and culture? This could be a interesting topic
of discussion - Is the type or paranormal activity related to culture or
location or history (or has this been done already and I am not aware of it)?
In short my contention is that there seems (as least to me) to be parts of the
world (such as the UK) where there appears to be more paranormal phenomenon
than other parts of the world. Then if this were really the case than what
are the theories as to why this condition exists.

Incidentally you can't blame warm beer. Even though I am an American, I drink my
beer warm (as it should be - chilling beer kills the taste). Foster's always
taste better warm and Elephant malt is really kick a** when warm. The advantage
is that there is less thermodynamic shock on the human system when you drink
warm beer since the input temperature is closer to the output temperature. As
for seeing ghosties and ghoulies if you drink warm beer, I can categorical state
that yours truly has never seen a ghost or a ghoul as a result of drinking warm
beer (unless you want to count little green aliens). So the British are now
drinking their beer cold (as reported by MorningtonCrescent)????? What is the
world coming to?? Could this be another sign of the End Times??

"ley lines" (lines of mystical energy that criss-cross the planet)...then looking at several ancient extrapolations...you'll see that the island of England has more of a concentration of these ley lines than almost any point on the globe... Most of the "mystics" believe that where the lines cross (or nexuses), sometimes allow for a rip between dimensions (triggered by certain astronomic events, etc). So, if these "rips" happen often, who knows? Maybe that's where all the faeries, dragons, and other weird stuff that seems to plague England is coming from?

I once read an article about a scientist who was working on something in his lab. Suddenly he saw a person (ghost) standing to his left. I believe it was even in England. As he didn't believe in ghosts, he looked into the matter and found out that there was something like a magnetic field or blowout at the place, that was actually visible at certain times. If England has many crossing Earth-magnetic lines crossing eachother it may be no wonder why England has more than it's share of ghost stories. We also know that in the old days castles and cities were often built along such lines. But the theory of the uncarbonised warm beer is a good one too too much mixing of bitter and mild I guess... hehe
