Geological and archaeological given the size of the Atlantis in the story its an island 530 x 350 kilometers with mountains, he shouldn't have had any
difficulty identifying it and the geological 'event' that destroyed it - but the question is why is HE discovering it and not people before him?
why don't you ask him yourself. i see young geologists learn his stuff. i see him representing to institute when he lectures on it at the institute.
