Did I wake up in a parallel universe?

The ATS I signed up for seemed to have collectively agreed that their has been NO real president since Kennedy as we continue to march to a New World Order.

The ATS that I love would NEVER re-elect the man who signed NDAA into law. You remember that little bill from 3 weeks ago, don't you? The one that DETAINS AMERICANS WITHOUT DUE PROCESS? THE ONE THAT STEPS ON OUR CONSTITUTION AND OUR BILL OF RIGHTS AND SCARES JUST ABOUT EVERYBODY WITH A BRAIN?

What else has Obama accomplished? Well---he had a lot of firsts didn't he? Do you all need reminding?

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student.... then deny he was a foreigner.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States .

www.rense.com...

So, how is this hope and change working out for ya?

Relax, all of those posts that support Obama are made by none other than the cronies that follow him.

Spread some more hate around and maybe you can get people on your rickety little bandwagon.

People are sick of the GRAND OLD PARTY and the good old boys, nepotism and back door deals.

Hope and change is working out great.

So sick of threads with nothing to offer but slander and lies designed to fool stupid people into following along. There are a lot of FIRSTS there. I am not sure you remember back as far as 08 but the man inherited the worst condition the USA has ever been in and we are still here making progress.

You don't give the man credit for killing Osama bin Laden (you remember he was responsible for 9/11?) or rescuing Americans trapped overseas on at least 3 occasions or turning the war into a special forces and secret ops, and using drones rather than go on letting thousands of American soldiers die in field battles as was GWB's initial plan and where many of our military were lost.

I guess it is all about the money to you (a republican I am guessing?) Oh yeah right... YOU ARE AN INDEPENDENT ! LMAO Isn't everybody?

American lives don't matter much to you do they?
If they did you'd be thrilled a Nation filled with mothers daughters and sisters are finally getting EQUAL PAY for equal work and so they can finally better support their children and families.

You don't give a crap about America - If you did you would recognize improvements and would not be hankering to put a SLICK, TWO FACED MILLIONAIRE/Billionaire friendly PUPPET in office instead of what we've got. He isn't perfect mostly because he has been fighting the GOP the whole way but I am voting for him again.

Because for a moment, they were misguided by a silly post.

Disregard the fact that Obama is yet another puppet having broken nearly every campaign promise only fulfilling a few because its an election year. Apparently he has packed his Administration with more Lobbyists and political insiders than any Administration before it.

He's bailed out the banks exactly as Bush did and has expanded the wars in Afghanistan, Pakistan and wants to start a new one with Iran.

His recent campaigning sounds like hes talking from a Ron Paul script, addressing the Middle Class, free markets even the Department of Education, about monumental student loan debt, costs of higher education and the incredibly high student loan interest rates.

Hes another establishment fake.

Are kidding me? Yes he bailed out the banks. So did Bush. You know why that's a good thing? Cause people have their freaking money in those banks. Not to mention all the shareholders who have invested money into those banks. What were they supposed to do? If the banks go under, everyone loses.

Twilight zone for sure! Maybe the flu shots had a mind altering drug in them set to detonate today. That or Obama bought a bunch of welfare recipients lap tops today.

At least none of Obama's Middle Eastern buddies have attacked and killed more than 3000 Americans on our own soil.

And then congratulated them on their "Mission Accomplished"

Maybe it's because the majority realized that NDAA does NOT remove those rights?

What else has Obama accomplished?

A lot of things...they just don't dare mention them on Fox News.

So, how is this hope and change working out for ya?

Why do you people feel the need to put down people who believe in hope?

We ARE in a MUCH better position than we were 3 years ago....Don't let the facts get in the way.

He has expanded gun owners rights. (this "Obama is trying to take away our guns so he can install socialism, is just Fox News propaganda, without an ounce of truth.)

Heck, I've even seen people post some bills he's signed and say they take away states rights, when they in fact gave states more power...

I'd like to say some more about this segment. Please read my above post before this one.

You say it steps on our constitution....maybe you should read the constitution and see that it already allows them to suspend due process in certain cases(cough, cough, national security cases).

BTW, I'm not voting for Obama. And I don't love him. But he is way better than Mitt and Newt. C'mon, they openly admit they are corporate shills. There's no conspiracy involved. They are proud of their corporate butt kissing.

The only person I'd vote for this election is Ron Paul. But I don't think he'll be nominated. Looks like I'll be staying home election day, yet again.

For anybody who is interested, I just made a threat called Obama Is A Puppet -- Part II, which as the title suggest, explains why Obama is a puppet.

I agree, why all of the Obama love?

First off, refer to the now top flagged thread regarding the new military stationing of 100,000 troops by March. Still think Obama held his anti-war promise?

Secondly, I'd like people to give a fact check with links on what exactly Obama has done to improve the nation. I'm sure he's done SOME positive things, but he's also done some absolutely deplorable things.

I do agree it's a tough choice between him and Newt/Romney; unfortunately Obama probably is the better option. But I'm either for Paul, or no-one.

Not atall. But it's a million times better than the republican's pro-war promise.

That is a very interesting take on the subject, and, though I find it unlikely, it could have some truth to it.

If Obama is sick and tired of being president, wouldn't he pass on re-election? Or rather, wouldn't he abuse his executive power to bypass congress?

Remember, Clinton resigned. I don't see why Obama can't do the same as a result of an incompetent congress who refuses to work with him, or rather, the multiple reasons he should have already been impeached.

It would throw things into disarray, not to mention destroy public confidence in the government, but if Obama is truly sick of being president, he doesn't have to run.

Personally, I think he likes the power, and he likes being an insider.

He should have let the banks fail. We need to cut the cancer out of our society, not nurture it in hopes that it won't kill us. By the way, of the bail out money, banks only saw 13 billion in profits. Think about that, over 8 trillion dollars spent trying to bail them out, which we lent to them for less than the dollar's worth, with 0 interest, and they have only made 13 billion. Their ceo's, on the other hand, have gotten some rather nice bonuses for raping our economy.

We should have sent a message to the banks, that if they screw up, we won't be there to protect them. They are big boys, our government should not hold their hands and and assist them in whipping out their Willy's every time they need to pee. By preventing them from failing we simply allow them to keep partaking in unhealthy lending. The banks don't care about the American people, nor the American government; why should either entity care for the banks?

No, I detailed why that would be a bad idea

Why? We bail out other businesses. Do you beleive in it when its a small businesses? Why should big business be excluded?

Forgive me, I am not a fan of banks, but since other businesses can get bailouts, I wont deny banks the ability to do so as well.
