News Source: Google Becomes Bad!

This is breaking! I don't know about you, but I shall be sending a protest e-mail to Google and I shall now be changing my search engine!

This is BIG NEWS! We MUST take action, and let people know about this!

I've also just spotted an e-mail I received from Google ([email protected]) today:

Dear Google user,

We're getting rid of over 60 different privacy policies across Google and replacing them with one that's a lot shorter and easier to read. Our new policy covers multiple products and features, reflecting our desire to create one beautifully simple and intuitive experience across Google.

We believe this stuff matters, so please take a few minutes to read our updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at www.google.com... These changes will take effect on March 1, 2012.

This is why I tell everyone to search for things that people frown upon....ummm bare subjects if you will.
You do not have to click the links, just search for midget horse....Etc.

What can you do with a bunch of blatant junk info?
The same that you can with no information.
Get searchin Brothers and Sisters!!!
Keywords, pigmy, jello pudding, bathtub.

Google is building an artificial intelligence. It is only a matter of time before AI is born. My best guess is this has something to do with 2012. Don't fight with google, they are not the enemy. The real enemy is those who would use AI against humanity, like SkyNet. Those people are the real enemy.

And let me guess, after this nice advertising, you're working for them

I don't see the problem with Google recording IPs (i don't have a fixed one but a different one everytime i log in) or what you search for. I doubt Google is interested in my searches for Minecraft stuff or general news. I'm not registered at any Google Service, so they don't even know who the IP belongs to (and at least the German laws forbid it to get informations about who is behind a IP.

It's once again mostly those people crying, who frequent porn sites or are pirates and afraid that their searches get recorded and maybe used against them. Well, they deserve it.

I for one will continue using Google, it's the best search engine, it finds everything. No other one can even come close.

Just a dumb assenign question.
Does this mean that the NSA is part of the government slimdown and is passing off what it is doing to the private sector?
I'm 55, Single and look at a lot of porn and I'm allready getting over 200 spam e-mails about it so nothing new.

There is a simple way to avoid google gaining access to your searching history. Log off after reading your mails in gmail and then start searching whatever you are searching. I usually check my mail in gmail and after reading them, I close my gmail account. There is nothing that google can trace if you are not logged in.

Nsa,its international equivalents, and private industry have had the ability to track your IP and data mine against an IP for years. What do you think bots were all about? That was just the beginning. The technology has gotten loads more sophisticated and accurate. You have every right to be upset about this privacy breach (and should be) but you are over a decade too late to be crying now.

So what? It's their prerogative. Google is a business, and if you want to use their service you play by their rules. You don't have to.

This is like walking into a hotel and complaining about the CCTV cameras. It's their hotel, not yours. Don't like it? Go to another hotel.

If Facebook can track you after you are signed out. What makes you think google can't? If people like all their information spread all over the net thats their business but personally I don't find it appealing. I never liked my mom spying on me and I definitely don't like strangers doing it. Not because I am doing anything wrong but because it is none of their business.

Hate to break it to you, but if your on the net, your already on a list.

What makes Facebook and Google different from any other website? They're big, and their policies make the news. Im pretty sure 99% of the sites out there have the capability of tracking you if they wanted.

The real issue is wether your going to stay silent and hope to go unnoticed in a world where its not possible, or stand up when its important.

I dont like not having privacy as much as the next guy, but if you really want to be anonymous, you have to be off the grid. As in no phone, no internet, no electricity. And even then TPTB still know where you are, unless youve never paid taxes in your life.
