Now whilst this might seem a hoot, there is also a more creepy aspect to this. The Angel of 1040 ALSO instructed St Edward to build his capital upon Thorny Island, marshy island, a few miles upstream to the West of London (as it was then) where no-one lived and was covered in weeds and bushes. St Edward complied and built a church (also known then as a Minster) and a small palace on this site in 1041AD. Amongst other prophecies, the Angel also told St Edward that if he did so, it would one day be the capital of the most powerful empire that the world would ever see.

So what happened?

The church on Thorny Island (to the west of London) became known as "Westminster" and became the site of the Houses Of Parliament which would, by the turn of the 20th Century, run 1/3 of the globe, the largest empire in history.

If a deity chose a small group of people to be above the rest and have license to kill, steal, enslave; then that deity is a pos. Creating an elite bully class to feed off the rest, a cosmic mega parasite if you will, is not my idea of the action a supposed just, loving and wise god would take.

Many people think they've been chosen by God for all sorts of things. Many people around you who seem not religious believe it too, secretly.

There are many people who are God's Chosen on this planet.

You are exactly right. People in the religion of Judaism reject Jesus as the Messiah, and therefore do not have God.
Jews didn't write the Old Testament - Hebrew/Israelites did.
12 tribes were known as Israel.
Later split into two kingdoms - House of Israel and House of Judah.
God divorced the House of Israel in 722BC leaving only the House of Judah.
"Jew" in the Bible means Judean/Judahite/someone from Judea/House of Judah.
Jesus came and preached to Judea first, some accepted Him, most did not.
Jesus declared their House desolate before His death. Jerusalem was sacked in 70 AD in judgement.
The New Covenant was then preached to the other tribes (House of Israel) which had been divorced and strangers seeking God.

God's Elect are among those who accept Jesus as the Saviour/Messiah. They are generally called Christians.

Why do we have Jews sitting in a country called Israel? Deceit.
Why do we have Christians not accepting that they probably descend from true Israel? Deceit.

And if you still cannot figure out why the western Christian professing nations have been made godless through communist propaganda and the overturning of every single "biblical" moral laws, then Heaven help us considering foreign powers come against true Israel in the end times....that's the western Christian professing nations. So look around. Many "Christians" keep blessing a Jewish state in the Middle East, when they should be blessing true Israel, who all accept Jesus as the Saviour. And many Atheists, descended from Christian parents or grandparents who were true Christians,, clap gleefully at the eradication of Gods laws not realising that their judgement is coming and will be based on Gods laws written in their hearts, as promised as descendants. When the nations come against us, which side will you be on?

The Children of Israel were composed of twelve tribes, each one a son of Jacob/Israel (and later on, Josephs two sons Manasseh and Ephraim were made 'like Simeon and Levi' to Jacob, i.e they became like the sons of Israel, and therefore received a portion with the other 10 sons of Jacob.

You should read the Bible before you decide to make a comment like that.

The twelve tribes made up the land of Israel. If you read the Bible, the term comes up again and again.

As for Rothschild directly inspiring the founding of modern Israel... Wow... What can one say to such ignorance? Read a book on Zionism. The house of Rothschild, both its English and German branches, RESISTED the idea of a state for the Jews in Palestine. The only real backers of the project were moderately wealthy Jews and the proletariat; all the big bankers, the Rothschilds, Warburgs, Schiffs, Montefiores etc, none of them wanted a thing to do with a national project for the Jews.

At most, they gave money for emigration, to build farms etc... But not one of the big Jewish bankers were interested in Zionism in it's early days. Not until the early 20th century,and especially after the holocaust, were the major powers in the Jewish community mobilized.

I found the declaration interesting, that is all.
Im not going to have some sort of religious argument about it either. I have my own thoughts on that so i'll leave them for another time.

Who's talking about religion? I merely pointed out for you what it says in the Bible. Israel as a name, is mentioned at most 10 times. Israel as a land (Eretz Yisrael) is mentioned hundreds of times.

And that Rothschild thing, I don't know why you wrote that, or even more so, why I even bothered to dignify that with a response.

I think he's doing a pretty good job, don't you? What other group of people do you hear so much about? What other group has become so prosperous for being so small? This is why God "chose" them. To set an example. No matter how small you may be, God has the power to sustain you and protect you from anything you face, and he will prove it.

Edit Add: As being the ones for God to "make an example", remember he's allowed them to be persecuted, separated, etc. too, yet the people as a whole continue to survive. Let's face it, he hasn't always shown them favor in order to make an example out of them.

Being "chosen" also came with a terrible burden. Many of them wish they never recieved and followed Yah in the first place. No other people has been enslaved, exiled, hunted, exterminated, or hated in all the world worse except maybe the christians. There is always a terrible price to pay for being God's chosen people and the christians got a taste of that price for 1700 years for following the Messiah and true King of Israel that even the jews denied. No one else in all the universe can beat the pride out of you like the LORD can. Many times the Israelites tore their clothes off and put on sack cloth (burlap) and poured dirt all over themselves and in their hair in sorrow and despair.

People that scoff and make fun of us have no clue about the hell we have endured for his love.

If you asked Christians if they thought the Jews were God's chosen people, I bet a lot would say yes.

It's the same thing with the catholic church thinking it is the only valid faith and means of salvation. Really it's not their fault.

Actually, that thought is not just prevalent in Catholicism and Judaism. Most major religions believes the same thing:

Protestants:
"Born again Protestants" believe that you can not be "saved" unless you are "born again".

Islam:

And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. Quran 3:85

and

He it is Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion that He may make it prevail over all the religions; and Allah is enough for a witness. Quran 48:28

The bottom line, though, is that as long as those beliefs don't impinge upon others, it is their right to believe what they wish. It is only when they use such belief in exclusive-ism that there becomes a problem.

Yes, people do start wars over religion, but they also start wars over politics, water rights, ideologies, money, and just about anything else that you can think of, including of course, the prevalent belief by the last two administrations that they have a divine right to wage preemptive wars.
