What.....80% believe in God, 70% believe they are the "chosen people", yet only 56% believe in an afterlife? So, 24% of Israeli Jews believe in a God, but believe that death is the end?

What is the purpose of believing in God then? That means that they don't believe they will be held accountable for their actions after death. What a strange survey!

There is a reason. It comes from the old testament. Heaven for mortals only came about with Jesus, not before. Untill Jesus, none would rise from the dead. Thats what Ive gathered in my own digging.
